I looked at some of the biggest misplays common in Tower Defense Simulator, that the majority of the player-base has probably felt at some point. This includes big mistakes when placing towers, missed opportunities to get old event towers like Commando or Slasher, and even the rarest crate which was ultimately a massive waste....

The one that joins late is so relatable. I think they might add a "start" button where the game starts if everyone pressed the button to immediately start the countdown of the game.

literally all the devs need to do is add and intermission lobby for special maps/ event/ hardcore. its so simple and they haven't done it.

@@pedros919 the countdown will start for a longer duration (probably like 35 seconds) if not all pressed the start button. (If all of them pressed it, it will automatically starts in 5 seconds.)

The first golden crate I got was pyro, which used to be bad but now I use it all the time in fallen and hardcore, also I regret not grinding further in some of the events I played because I missed out on a ton of cool skins, I even missed out on the entire eclipse event because I had no idea it even happened until after it ended

When you mentioned the internet connection and for one of the examples being Quickdraw gave me flashbacks of me loading in late for a Quickdraw match and feeling the strat was over bc I would load in when the match started

Restarting when you did a mistake on a specific step or strat doesnt let you improve throughout the game, instead you stuck with it and do a different step and try to do alternate but similar steps to the mistake you did, this will give you experience and skills to further progress yourself on the game. there is always another method which is in front of you.

Well pyromancer as of right now is an A tier tower (caugh caugh defense burning carries it) But golden pyromancer is S tier and is the 2nd most versatile tower in game (right below commander) U get cheap hd,ok dmg and aoe all for 800$ and upgrading him will just boost those stats and add defense burning which is the reason why its so versatile Its the 2nd best golden skin right below cowboy

I played when TDS Came out because i loved tower defense games. I never did any events because i never like playing with people. Only playing solo. I wasnt very good so i never tried. I regret everything lol

You forgot one more mistake: uneven placement. A lot of people(for some reason in 2023’s lunar overture) place everything at the front but leave nothing at the back. This works in the short term, but something strong enough to breach the fronts defense can cost you the game. Reinforce the back.

Being late and missing out on towers, battlepasses, skins is so annoying. I missed out the tf2 engineer skin, missed out solar eclipse accelerator I would have gotten if I actually did grind gems back then, missed out like every single event tower except 3 (sledger, jester, necromancer) and like... This is just pain. Would have gotten executioner but never got good teammates, bought every single basic skin when I was starting, keep in mind that was FROST INVASION.

“Alot of TDS are very chilled” damnn they’re so welcoming to the point when I loaded in it’s just my hallucinations they’re there. i got zero faith in matchmaking when the people just left because either 1 person is missing or the base took “5” brain cells of HP

I used to have a platinum crate and I wanted to save for a golden to open them both at once. When I almost got a golden crate, my platinum crate got deleted :(

The big emotional damage for me in tds was when they made that you cannot longer obtain 1 delux creat every battle pass and now you can get only 1 in entire game

Ive regretted not getting gladiator i litteraly have an og pumpkin crate with the pumpkin gladiator i even have a crate with the demon gladiator im either hoping he comes on sale like toxic gunner or the event comes back for some reason

I never grinded for the Platinum Crate I was lazy. I got nothing to regret. Worst mistake in my opinion is missing on events. Some Towers may never come back and you didn't want to grind for it. Now you regret your choices (halloween 2020)

my biggest mistake was not playing enough of halloween 2020 like i only reached the coffin emote and im waiting for them to release new pumpkin/ghost skins this halloween in a crate bc they have been doing that lately

im happy to say i finally got golden minigunner after 3 years of playing because i got 4 other gold skins which are golden scout, golden crook boss, golden soldier, and golden pyro and it took my 5th golden crate of pain to get the golden mini, i could probably get all of the golden skin under a year but i keep getting bored farming molten and just leaving the game for a week after like 1 match lol.

they should add a tower that throws bolas like a chain but when it lands on enemies it explodes and the bola gets bigger and covers more enemies and has more powerful explosions

My first and 2nd gold crate was 1st was crook boss and 2nd minigunner and i was sooo happy and my third was cowboy 4th scout 5th soldier and 6th was pyro

On the easter event, the choice was either easy mode, which was easy, or hard mode so i chose easy mode , got the egg, and pretty much left completely

doing hardcore on level 50 is a good idea, so you can get accel/engi asap, just don't expect to win, since u need accel/engi to win

Tips for people who want to get a golden skin they want: #1 instead of buying the towers, buy the tower that you want to have the golden skin like golden miniguner buy that first and then buy the golden crate. You will have a 50/50 to get the golden scout or the golden miniguner.

My biggest mistake was quitting- I quit tds for a year or two and have missed a lot but now I’m getting back into it, unlocking my first g crate ( soldier 😒) and getting warden and cowboy :)

I couldnt get swarmer because i was like level 5 and barely won the easy mode with random people :( Below should put more event towers on sale for things like black friday, But to balance it maybe only for one or two days

Ngl, deva should add "ready" button for special maps and gamemodes where you cant select the difficulty, makes no sense to me that matchmaking has one but badlands, pizza party, hardcore dont

Play Critical Tower Defense! Comes with Balanced Towers, Perks, Cool Upgrade, Sell and Place Animations, Balanced Gamemodes, Daily Quest/Bounties System and Two Secret Towers. There are probably more cool things about Critical Tower Defense but you should play it anyways

the biggest mistake i made is quitting so many times, i quit for a total of 2 years and if i didnt, i would most likely be a level 800+ today because i was a level 200 back in 2021. i missed gladiator, slasher, sledger, executioner (i bought it) and elf camp.
