Eating and drinking will never give you full immunity. This is a common myth based on older systems in DayZ. But the updates have changed how DayZ's immunity system works

Basic illnesses pretty much disappear, the more advanced stuff you pretty much always have to be aware of.

So do I need to take vitimims constantly?? Like pop one and then when the medicine symbol disappears I pop another and so on. Or is there any lasting effect after the pill symbol is gone??

Yes, they should last for 5 minutes each. No lasting effect.

Only take vitamins if you’re yellow food/thirst/health. Or if you are wet, cold or eating something you shouldn’t be. Or around a sick player. Any other time your immune system will be enough to keep you healthy. You don’t have to pop them all the time.

It's because it used to give you like 95% immunity back in the old days. But yea it doesn't work like that anymore.

It does but not the same, too my nowledge it's ways been that way where like kuru and such has ways been contractable if you didn't do basic prevention like avoid human meat or other sick players, where as the flu and cold just stop unless given by other

Yea tetra cures cold, flu, cholera and wound infection but ¾ of those can be prevented by having multi vitamin active. Cholera for example.. you only ge it by drinking dirty water so if you take vitamins you can drink any water, can come in clutch, it has for me in the past.

You’re def wrong about that. I was far from my base once and got sick. Used like 12 tetra on the trip back to base and never cured it. Popped one vitamin when I reached the base and was cured within minutes.
