During the college basketball game between D3 St. John Fisher and Buffalo, viral sensation Connor Williams entered the game and got some playing time. Williams went viral last year due to being the biggest player in college basketball, coming in at 7 feet tall and 360 pounds. He was able to make a few plays during this game and finished with 3 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

He's an enigma. He has great hands, a good passer and boxes out well when rebounding. He's actually more valuable setting screens out near the 3pt line because when he gets the ball down in the post he cant jump. I'd bet if he got down to 300lbs or below he'd be a real force all over the court.

In order to lose weight, you have to eat very little. I have done it. The other alternative is to eat a calculated diet which you stick to like a dog on a bone. I went the route of eating very small meals, you could call them mini meals and it did work. At times it was actually painful. I felt very uncomfortable when I was going to sleep especially. The other way to do it is to burn a lot of calories. It might be worth it for him to seriously train. Even if he couldn't play on an NBA level, maybe he could play internationally. He could make enough money in couple of years to pay for graduate or professional school. Or jump start his financial foundation.
@mick727xd

@@anonymike8280 when you weigh 330-340lbs and are 7ft tall, you'd lose weight eating 2500-3000 calories a day, especially if involved in sports. Sometimes there are other factors stopping weight loss, and its definitely difficult to have the willpower to stick to it, but its not a case of having to starve yourself.

@CRneu
@CRneu Жыл бұрын
Solid basketball? The dude is hardly ever in position on defense because the opposing team can run the ball against him. He can't move on offense so they have to keep him up above the free throw line so he can attempt to get back on defense. Any decent coach can easily exploit him when he's on the court via pacing and spacing. You can even see it a few times in these clips. He's a below average player and his weight hurts his game even more. I don't mean to be rude or say he can't be good but as it stands now I don't really understand the hype. He's an oddity player and people are vastly overrating him. He seems to be a humble and good person though so I do hope he finds success.

Yeah, but if he was just that little bit faster he could have crashed the basket with the smaller guy and outfought the opposing player for the rebound. He had a shot at the rebound but the other guy got the inside position. If he could be ANY faster he may have been able to retain possession by turning on the pick and boxing out the rebound position

He’s a good long-term development project. He has great court vision and looks to have great potential to improve as a passer and shooter. It would be quite the story if he dropped 100lbs, added some mobility, and continued progress in his skills.

He wouldn't have to drop the weight tho. Or at least not that much 20 lbs would put him in the 350 range. Look the the NCAA and NFL DTs.. some of them are 350+ and some of them can run. He needs to work on his passing. Those lazy passes he throws are gonna be stolen alot. He puts nothing on it. As a shooter he has good form and that first one he hit was beautiful.
