The APS certificate is issued by the German Embassy or Consulate in the student's home country and is meant to verify the authenticity of the student's academic qualifications and assess their eligibility for higher education in Germany. The APS process typically involves the submission of documents such as academic transcripts, diplomas, and language proficiency certificates, as well as an in-person interview.
Starting for the Summer sem 2023, Indian students need to apply for the APS certificate as well. This certificate is required during the master's application process as well as during the Visa application. Hence it is important that we are aware of the steps we need to follow to apply for the certificate.

I had a problem while I was applying for my aps. I clicked on submit and pay now. Then suddenly my laptop went off due to some issue. I hadn't yet paid the money. But I recieved a mail that my account has been created. I tried to login but it shows that my account is not activated yet. It has been 3 days since I applied for aps, but I don't have any response about the account activation. Am I stuck in a problem? I am trying to login since yesterday.

I applied for aps on 1 may but I didn't get my username and password. Payment was done by me on that day. Also, I had tried for login, but error appeared which was 'the login credentials you entered are incorrect' thus I decided to register again but it didnot work because passport and aadhar card number are not used second time. Then I sent mails on its mail id, I didn't get any helpful information those mails are auto generate. So i need proper Guideline what i have to do, I already took too much time for it.

Hello, ma'am. I successfully made a payment of 18k, but immediately after the payment, I was redirected to an error page. Unfortunately, I haven't received any confirmation, and the payment status still indicates "canceled." I'm unsure about the next steps, but I believe a confirmation email is crucial for verifying that the payment has been received.

As you said I did same like I clicked on cc avenue and then PhonePe but after 30secs payment page got redirected to log in page then I have check my payment status it shows payment cancelled although I didn’t get any payment pop up in PhonePe later again i paid through bank transfer then I have click on edit application and entered offline payments details and updated it

We also do the same, but once we download the application form the offline payment details and online payment details is showing the form and the payment status is showing cancelled.

I was filling the details while applying but the form got submitted automatically. I want to edit the information but I am unable to do so because there is limited info that I can change or add . I can't create another account or delete the current account because it has been activated and the aadhar no is linked to that account. I mailed them regarding the issue and this is their reply - "APS India regrets to inform that due to the large number of applications no status queries can be entertained at this time. @@afridikhan8938 there is an option to edit some of the details in the application form. For other details, you can make a word document write all your details that you'd like to give and any extra message or information on it and send it along with your other documents

I created my APS account and I couldn't pay through CC Avenue but still my account was activated and when I checked my payment details it showed cancelled. I feel I did a huge blunder once I logged into my account and saw payment was cancelled then I went to edit my submission and chose to do offline transaction and I did through Net Banking and my money was debited from my account and my application got updated but when download the application again but payment detail is still showing cancelled So I'm getting scared will my application get rejected or should I send my documents to Aps office ?

I think you shouldn't worry about the status, just update you transaction details and send the documents. The status should change when they verify your documents.

Hi I paid aps fee online payment using debit card 2 times 1. First time transaction is cancelled, transaction status is cancelled 2.second time after payment i got ""your order #xxxxx is awaited" & a payment reference no. How did you get the option to pay again via debit card. As far as I remember after the first payment failure, you have to transfer money offline via bank or via netbanking.

I created my APS account and i couldn't pay through CC but still my account was activated and and when i checked the payment detail it showed cancelled. Maybe they have not updated it yet, maybe they'll Update it once they start your document verification but I cannot say that for sure.

By consolidated, it means organising all your marksheets together and sending it.

Hi , aps online payment got timed out, but account got activated after few hours and payment status is now seen as pending with a payment invoice number and payment date of the day when account was created.Now after clicking edit submissions, only offline payment option is shown.What to do?😢. Was the amount deducted from your account, if yes then wait for the refund. Also wait for account activation, it takes time.

Hello everyone, I have a question. Just now, I heard that APS (American Physical Society) might block you if you send them continuous emails, which I didn't even know before. I also sent them another email this morning to request a faster process, as I have some upcoming deadlines.
