@@DeepValueOptions I haven't taken any "gamble", I simply replied to your statement about "the media and wsb" of what they were doing. If you took away the ticker symbol and told an analyst to look at the chart they would say this a bullish value play. Having said that, I think the ones that are gambling at this point are the short sellers not only in GME, and AMC. But the ones doing naked shorting in the US Treasuries to the point where now there's not enough collateral and they are over extended on margin. This is a wide range shorting problem in the market with margin levels at ridiculous highs. Go search up the repo market and the insane liquidity drainage that's happening while there's not enough collateral for US treasuries that are being heavily shorted to the point where those might even squeeze also because of rehypothetication because of the over leverage of these Banks having too much debt.

I calculated if institutional mutual fund ownership is 25.69 percent as of 3/31/2021 and AMC CEO say retail owns at least 80 percent percent, plus what the company owns, plus what has been shorted over the available shares, this is a perfect storm for the biggest short squeeze in history 2021. My father played the market constantly in the 90’s to early 2000’s. Played the short game and had to mortgage a free debt free family farm to cover the loss. Dumbest game to play. Limited profit balanced against unlimited loss. Fortunately, we still have the farm, and no debt with a six figure harvest coming. What a risky thing he did.

1. In 2008, the US government cut the interest rate "again" to near zero. This helped the highly indebted companies to pay back old debt by new borrowing at "near zero" interest rate. If the US didn't do that, the bankruptcy probability of many companies would be high. 2. VW is a German company. USD is the reserve currency. Every country wants USD during trade with each other. My point is whatever the US does, it has a worldwide effect.
