Noraly- This past Monday my wife and I had a big group of girls over to our house (9-14 years old) from our church. We all watched the Monday video together. When it was over, the entire group sat "starry-eye" at your adventures. One of the girls said "When I get older, I want to be just like Miss Noraly!" Do you realize that having a child wanting to be just like you is the greatest compliment anyone can give you? Thank you for being YOU! Virtual Nomad

@Tony Clough - She is also very intelligent and plans well. She can speak many languages and as we know if we've traveled, speaking the language of a given country is VERY important. She knows the laws/regulations and follows them. Yes some of the countries she travels are dangerous but not as dangerous as Chicago, LA, NY, etc. You just have to avoid the bad parts of the country/city.

@@tonyclough9844 She's far from being the first, e.g. Elspeth Beard a British rider from the 80s, and there are many other solo women motorcyclist running KZfaq travel blogs, but none are in Noraly's class. Noraly plans well and is flexible, very intelligent and has a wonderfully positive outlook and engaging manner with everyone, as well as her excellent presentation and videography skills. There are safety issues but I think she knows them more than most and does what she can to mitigate them and still have her adventure.

Mexico is geographically incredible. I went from Australia to live there 20 years ago and was just stunned by the constant change of scenery. Desert to tropical valley to snow capped mountain within an hour or two, commonly. In Australia, you have to travel hundreds of kilometers to see the landscape change this much.

Also meat bag is called mixiote, not mixote, the name is from the bag, is part of the leaf (known as "penca" here) of a variety of maguey (kind of agave) that produces "aguamiel" precursor to prepare pulque, a traditional alcoholic beverage. As someone told before sweet bread is called concha, funny fact, you know the other one as croissant, but here we are used to call it "cuerno".

It is always prepared to do it's job to deliver you and your cargo to the next destination. Listening to Alaska in your videos made me long to own a Honda CRF 300L and now I finally have one of my own. I hope to duplicate the length of your day trips someday. You cover 400 kilometers with ease. That is about 240 miles in one day. 5 to 6 hours of hard riding. I am sure it would take me at least 6 hours to ride 400 kilometers even on paved roads. Keep up the great work. Guy in Columbia Mississippi

I've got to the point where I try for the 1000 km's in a day or 600 miles...I don't film, so I bet she spends as much time in the saddle...you just have to sort the bike on a comfort level to rip off those kinda distances.

Another amazing ride. And what a destination! What an incredible site. The temples are so so interesting…and you had the place all to yourself. That old saying of expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed certainly rang true on this day. Mexicos landscape is so diverse! Great video!

I have to say that several years ago I tripped over a few of your early incounters and got busy. 10 days ago I was put down with a lower back issue and fortunately I stumbled across you again. I watched the entire 80 episodes. Sad part is that I got caught up yesterday morning. So when I got up this morning make my breakfast I go to find my good morning internet connection and shit a dame just going to have to wait watch it with the other several million. That said I would like to let you know that as a life long motorcyclist from a very young age how impressive it is to watch a gal that does it ALL and by her own instincts. So many of the random off road excursions are some of the greatest times spent on 2 wheels. I have also recognized how much better you have preformed in the greasy stuff you have come a long way I am proud for you and jealous. Keep the videos coming I am starting to get bored. Good luck and my the good lord be smiling down on you

19:20 depiction of sacrifice of someone. Pretty crazy pictographs. I love the archeology especially in Mexico and Peru. 30 years ago I was able to search for random ruins on the yucatan peninsula a few hours away from Cancun.

Incredible mountain views, cute and colorful mountain towns, and a different sort of pyramid. So fascinating that the local people have kept the "timekeeper" cleared all these centuries. And a fascinating structure. If the past could talk, we would learn so much! 🙂
