Man... almost happened to romania too We were 2-0 down in the 89' to Switzerland, and made it 2-2 in 2 minutes. On the last action we were trough, but a swiss defender made a red card tackle (he only got a yellow) and the game was over. Still a good comeback

Gg for moldavia, we were so bad lol. However, Santos is not why we lost. Santos had did some good choice, he managed to have lots of young players and have helped the extraklassa. And, even if his tactic wasn't good vs moldavia, some of our player were in their mind in holidays and were totally scared to play. So, the selection had a hudge trouble about the mental and tactic (but this is that for 6 years... (I'm bad in English, I hope that understable)

Honestly I think it's more Santos' fault than you think. He saw, that in the 2nd half Moldovians turned into freaking terminators and were in constant press for 20 minutes, but didn't make any good changes in our tactics. He had possibility to sub on young Lederman (btw ex- Barça academy player) known for his abilities in playing under pressure, but instead Santos did the worst thing possible and changed the formation (from 5 at the back to 4), and so decreased number of players showing up for play. That, our players thinking abt holidays + Nicolaescu becoming prime Nazario, yeah, basically made Polish fans triggered as never before. But I am still sure we will make it to the EUROs, as luckily we are in quite easy group. Did someone ever red all of this? 🗿

As a Pole, I must say that I don't think, like most of my compatriots, that this match was a great failure of our team and we must be ashamed because we can't play. Sure, the match was sad and the result even tragic, but you have to remember a few things, first of all, it was only Fernando Santos' fourth match in our team and the players did not adapt to his style (this is a wider problem of our national team that before every major tournament and recently even before qualifying they change the coach and immediately expect results), Secondly, Santos undertook the difficult task of generational replacement in the national team, and even though today all of Poland criticizes it, until recently they themselves called for the removal of Glik, Grosicki and Krychowiak Due to their poor form.
