DISCLAIMER - This was a velo-off, the purpose of which was pure output while being reasonably around the zone. Over this upcoming summer, both guys are looking to increase velocity, improve their pitch shapes, and ultimately harness these improvements with improved command as they begin to face hitters.
Depending on the session, the focus may be pitch shapes, command, adding game specificity/hitters, or, in this case, peak output. Both guys have been carefully ramped up to these intensities, which serves a specific purpose in their overall yearly plan.

Did you not read the disclaimer it’s a fking velo off it’s like maxing at the gym your not gonna do it everyday it’s meant to set a benchmark for improvement yes the command is not great in this showing but that’s not the point this guy prob sits low 90s in game with good command this isn’t a valid sample size to judge a pitcher off of

You clearly don’t know anything about baseball and haven’t played a day over jv. You base your whole opinion off a few minute clip. There are days where you work command. There are days where you work on velo. Instead of talking shit, how about using your big boy brain and do some research on how tread athletes train instead of getting on KZfaq and making an ass of yourself. All of these guys are head and shoulders above you and there’s a reason why you are on your couch talking shit in a KZfaq comment section.
