The king of stupidly massive scenery is BACK ladies and gentlemen and today we officially kick off an absolutely massive build of the most famous location in all of Warhammer, the Imperial Palace on Terra from the grimdark universe of Warhammer 30000. This build is going to be an absolute monster, and I have actually already been working on it in disguise for well over a year. In today’s video we’re going to explore how on earth I’m going to tackle such a massive behemoth of a build, look at some of the techniques we have at our disposal and give you guys an update on all the progress so far, as well as the plan moving forwards. So without further ado let’s begin the biggest build in the history of Zorpazorp. Well for now at least.

Great stuff! I would have liked to see some more shots of the final stage. Excellent idea to paint the roads with a blue-ish tone. In some boards it just all grey, and you loose all sense of scale or detail. This looks awesome.

lovely mate!! the blueish grey roads were a great idea, i feel like i can already see those mini-minis roaming around on there (gosh youre gonna need so many legions minis...). I really like the complex buildings combined with the simpler structures, it does read like a city, like kind of a small scale version of your osgiliath board actually, at least the ruined section (walkways), which is a great sign i think, bc that is probably the coolest one so far! And that trench! It feels very cinematic and i can see tons of scenarios played out there - im super pumped for the next one!

I like doing those maximization craft projects; it's really satisfying knowing I stretched my materials as far as physics would allow, so nice thinking with the top-down thing for the ruins. Also, adding that basic/simple finishing section-by-section is for sure the cool way to do it, so at least you have something useable in the meantime. Almost all my terrain projects are done like that so I never have anything big that's 'half-done' just a wholly done small thing that's only 'half the size it will be'.

And another nice one, love the high-rise buildings, that really go up. It's coming together. Now, if you have any Avengers, look up Tandem Winged Aircraft, I think that making them fly backwards and hus making the needed modifications, would give you some very nice looking birds. Heck, the tail wings already have the in-caping to fit that gatling canon, when you do that, the rudders will easily fit on the big wings, just need a bit of tubing for the engine rebuild. Cockpit will be the hardest, I think, in terms of details.

Loving this build! Just some feedback.. for busy ppl who might only get to these once in a while, it's potentially confusing that all the vids in the series have pretty much the same name, so I often have a 2 sec look and assume I've already seen it, or I can't find where it starts to watch the whole build in order, so I just give up. It would be useful if the episodes were numbered or you did some playlists in viewing order. Keep up the great work! Loving the batreps on ZH as well!

little lights in some areas, and some little details on the street would be amazing. I'm just imagining playing on this with low house lights, and parts of the board are lit up more than others. But I mean... Holy heck, this board is so, so, so cool.

I _really_ love those elevator towers, though! Their sheer size and chunkiness does a lot to sell how large a place the Imperial Palace is, by contrasting them with the normal buildings. I think that's what was missing at first, when you were struggling with not getting it to fit with your vision. Loving the progress!

So cool! I think it would make the board more dynamic to have some anchor points scattered around the board, where you can attach varying flying epic scale minatures, like thunderhawks.

Wow, those towers look gorgeous and are absolutely epic (pun intended), I love how huge they are, would be a great centerpiece on any LI table, but they so small comparing to the walls of the palace, really showed scale of it for me Please, keep going 🙏 I have just an idea, wouldn't it be great also to create a series of short videos each focused just on a single technique of your building process, building from foam, adding texture, grass, rocks etc, so more details about materials and approaches

Nothing can prepare you for that WH World exhibition piece, the scale is beyond epic. Made the pilgrimage with an epic scale hangover a couple of months ago on a lads weekend away in Nottingham. When I say lads, I mean not quite pensioners, at 51 I am one of the youngest :-)

Hey man! Amazing Episode as always! One thing I just noticed in regards of why people might chose to not click on the video: - While the photoshops look great - I have trouble seeing whats happening. I think simplyfied Thumbnails could draw a bit more attention to the eye, especially for people like me who follow each video :) does that makes sense or is it just me?
