Derek cancels his weekend to cover for Jack and Charles. Determined to make it to Stamford Bridge for a game between Chelsea and West Ham, he is furious when he is called in to take a sample for a rape case. To make matters worse, the victim drops the allegation before he arrives. Meanwhile, Vicky and Eddie arrest a drunk driver for assaulting Vicky during a pursuit. As they prepare to bail him, Duncan recognises him as a suspect for a series of armed robberies. Derek tries to get on the case but Duncan calls in Jack, who turns up sick but determined to sit in on the interview.
