Sign of filming out of order; Brownlow asks if Haines is heading up the op but he didn't arrive for another 12 episodes and Burnside didn't leave for another 9.

It's not the filming that's out of order, but the order they were broadcast in. The DVD releases reflect the order of the original broadcast.

I respect Meadows. Sometimes coppers make mistakes and people get hurt. But she didn't lie and she wasn't easy. It was a mistake, but it was a forgivable one

Maybe because he got sacked from the show for turning up drunk so-his character never progressed in the storyline more then dc

@@stuartfitt6585 I think more that his character was written as a bit of an idiot savant from the start... Exceptional powers of deduction, a top class detective mind - but hopeless with finances and lacking in ambition to go further (despite the financial incentive!).
