It really was! I was 17,5 when the game was released and man I enjoyed this game so much. It was so much fun that I even bought a steeringwheel + pedal set, eventhough it was quite an expense for me at that time. My PC struggled to keep the framerate up however, even at very low graphics-settings, which made the experience less enjoyable. My obsolete PC, bad seating ergonomics and School-duties forced me to quit playing - But it was damn good as long as it lasted. That autumn of 2007, NFSProstreet was a blessing for me. -My NFSPS adventure is one of the very few positive memories I want to keep from 2007! The rest of my 2007 was a mess!

@@SolarCrownDrifter Yes i do even if many cars are missing unfortunately. I just finished Ryo Watanabes Apex Glide team and tried to get them 100% accurate. They are all online in Horizon 3 but not 4 yet because there is a problem with microsofts cloud sharing service, i cannot properly copy them in horizon 4 unfortunately.

Dude come on, atleast undercover was unique in its story line and the missions were the best. People may say it’s like fast and furious because of going undercover thing but still...... and I really want to play pro street properly because laptop starts lagging in between and even it’s not on origin anymore

@@civicrider5556 Undercover was a great game in terms of story like, but was a raw mess in every other way possible. The Run is better example here, and i honestly loved it. As I said, others game's appearance is not bad, its just not something to relate to.

@@BEAMJ undercover would be decent if it didnt get rushed. in its current state, its a joke- sry. Bad Driving Physics (Nitro gives you more downforce=better turning?!?!) Customizing was pretty meh Story was pretty interesting, but you could feel how it got rushed after like 50% Really bad visuals and more.

@@BEAMJ Shift was awesome in my opinion. Really got me interested in motosports for a while and helped me discover the Forza series.

I'm not, I first got it on PC and it wouldn't play at all. Then I got it on PS2 and that version is even worse it was a terrible Port job and it contains a bug that will wipe your memory card if you try to save. In addition to frame rate issues and loading times 🤣

I really like that idea! The financial yield/customer satisfaction-ratio would most certainly be very favorable - I mean, the games are already developed - they would basically sell the same product again, with the difference being that it's improved. I'm pretty sure it'd be a very good return on investment for EA, as well as for the studio doing the remaster - while the fans of the games sure will be tempted to rediscover the games they liked/like so much. It sounds like it can't go wrong and that everyone will be happy. On my part - I'd buy a passionately excecuted remaster of NFSU2 and NFS Pro street without a moments hesitation. Now, my biggest worries: 1 Does anyone know if licensing would be an issue by the automanufacturers? I wonder, as it might lead to exclusion of some cars for example - I mean, like in the infamous case of the latest Forza Horizon game with Toyota and Mitsubishi. 2 Would EA let the games be remastered and sold without microtransactions, scummy DLC practices with removal of content? Their greed knows no bounds. It'd not surprise me at all if this was announced JUUST before launch of a remaster. Now, I can be a bit too pessimistic at times. I really do not like the EA of today, but one can't take away the fact that some of these games have become a huge part of people's lifes, and that the performances of the development-teams are still much appreciated. It's games from a gone era when games were games. And hold on a minute - why not remaster other old NFS games as well?
