Kyrie R oddly enough henry cavil (the current superman) stood under the bvs ads in time square in a superman shirt and Clark Kent glasses and no one recognized him.

ah, except there I doubt anyone would have recognized him if he were in the full Superman outfit either. Cosplayers are a regular sight, and even more regular are those character actors who dress up to take pictures with tourists for tips and scare the living daylights out of someone like me. (Oh god it's so scary and they always try to hug me when I pass 'cause they can see I look terrified and must be a good mark and OH DEAR LORD hide me!) So, really, someone in a Clark Kent cosplay standing under the BvS ads is not going unrecognized but unnoticed entirely. Who would pay enough attention to stop take a good look at him when they have places to be and rappers with mix tapes to avoid?

Kinda, before he had the name Superman, the characters name was "The brain" and he was evil, then they completely revamped him into what we know today but without flying or kryptonite cause kryptonite didn't exist in the beginning of Superman.

I was surprised myself, the whole reason behind Superman is cause when one of the creators was a kid, someone broke into his house while they were there and they couldn't do nothing about it, he felt so scared that his couping mechanism was his subconscious making a superhero where he can get that anger and out of himself and help kids and others not feel the same way, but along the way one of his ideas was well his first idea was the brain, an evil Mastermind, he took it every where to see if people liked it but when he met the other dude they remade the idea and turn it into Superman, but he couldn't fly he flew when DC caught him into their grasp and kryptonite wasn't a thing, it never was meant to be a thing. That's why the radio show made it into a thing cause they needed to make him weak somehow cause he was too strong.

Well having it be an ordinary rock makes ZERO sense. All rocks are not created equal. There are a massive number of different rocks with different chemical compositions and different formulations. Plus if the rocks are everywhere then how would he have any powers as he'd always been depowered? Furthermore how would for example a silicon based rock depower him? Makes no sense. LIke what is the specific mechanism going on here? Superpowers aren't witchcraft so there has to be a physical explanation.

Originally Superman could just run faster than a train, lift heavy weights, jump over 20 story buildings and it required an explosion to kill him. It was years of comic books, cartoons, and the tv show that tended to have him resolve challenges by simply giving him a new power that added everything else.

Ben Cox I think people mean friends you go clubbing with, to the bar, watch Netflix, and be very casual with. I don't mean people he will chat with at fancy dinner parties or put up a charming front with. That, and in the beginning, Batman has a hard time warming up to people, but his heart softens towards people close to him, after a lot of knocking down his walls, a lot of walls. I guess his first impression really lasted?

But she is not to be confused with Kathy Kane the original Batwoman who is unrelated to Bruce and who used to be a love interest to him. Comic writers really need to come up with more names so it don't sound like the main character is dating his cousin.

Fun fact: Superman actually wasn't able to fly when he was first created. He just had the ability to jump really far. His first time flying was for a radio commercial, where the animator was confused and just kinda thought Superman could fly

The thing is, Jerry and Joe made Superman not primarily because of his physical power, but because of the ideals that he stands for. Also, originally, Superman couldn’t fly, could be hurt by mortar shells etc.

@@mimah1015 If you sneak up on him with a gun, and shoot him, he will die. Superman is theoretically smarter than Batman, and Mr. Myzptlk( whose a fifth dimensional being.) Slightly slower than the Flash on foot. Faster than the Flash if hes flying. He's also stronger tha Darkseid. Invulnerable to anything that's not magic. And only slightly vulnerable to magic. Shazam's lightning bolts are just regular lightning bolts to anyone else. Yet he hit Superman with at least 5 in one fight. Freeze breathe, heat vision, x-ray vision, Super hearing, Super strength, etc. There are almost no situation that are actual problems. Superman is rarely overpowered. Only Doomsday every gives him more than he can handle.

The power of flight was actually an accident. When a writer was gonna do superman he was confused on what superman's powers were so he just added flight. Then it was corrected but fans wanted superman to fly.
