I reread the manga and when I got the end, Afro didn’t even mean to put Kotaro in a pack like his daddy, he wanted to let him win that fight but his body took instinct in the last minute bruh; wtf. Afro needs to be #1 in the top 10 powerless humans in the Round Table at this point

makes sense, i mean it's shown in afro samurai resurrection that you can't escape the curse of being the holder of the number 1 headband. there's no loopholes, you just have to fight until you're dead, (afro's father tells him this towards the end) so it's honestly pretty cool that that's shown when afro wants to lose the fight, but he can't just throw it.

@frankiejones7858 Yeah, they were deep. Lucy Liu and Liam O'Brien were only in the movie. I also forgot Zachary Gordon, who was Greg in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie, was in it as well. He played the little kid wanting the smoke from Afro

The fun part of Samuel L. Jackson playing Afro and Ninja Ninja, is that Afro barely says shit and Ninja Ninja is Samuel just having fun. So the two sides of Samuel L. Jackson basically... Also, if anyone does wanna Afro Samurai, make sure you watch it alone, with earphones, and don't let your screen be seen...this show is awesome, bloody, and it will show sex scenes, will not censor them at all...

And by the way, When kotaro (the boy with the fucked up fade) met afro to fight him, Afro was really ready to die he didn't even want to fight back so he just closed his eyes and wanted to die........... BUUUUUUTTT 😗, His body moved on it's own and he killed him in a flash when kotaro ran at him, he was even shocked when he saw that he killed him

Afro Samurai and Huey from boondocks were the reason I wanted to grow a fro as a kid. One of the reasons I loved the show was because Samuel l Jackson an the fact ninja ninja my favorite character was actually afros actual thoughts an feelings in all these scenes while being calm an composed on the outside. The theme of his dad being Soul/R&B music while Number 2 was rock am afro is hip-hop was great

He told Afro as a child to hate him and seek him out. The writing has Afro wanting to die due to, if I remember right, not wanting to cause trauma. But his body said f that and killed him.

Fun fact the music for Afro samurai and Rebirth the movie was done by RZA of the Wu Tang Clan .. And its great ,i still listen to it today while working out Combat is a song made from the perspective of Afro.. I Think RZA also played the part of the DJ

so about the last bit there in CJs video... in the manga, afro was fully accepting of his death at the hands of the kid, he just had too quick reflexes and basicly killed him on accident... also if memory serves, in the manga the fight with justice didnt actually happen, dude literally turned to dust when afro came there to fight the dude
