Wow, i used to play UPWORDS back in the 80's with my mom and dad. I had completely forgotten about that game until just now. It is a lot of fun!

Sometimes I just enjoy listening to the background music you play and the puzzle solve is a bonus.

This is the most advanced idea of the "Rubics Cube" variation puzzles I have ever seen!

This puzzle is quite like three sides of a Rubik’s cube laid flat. Pretty interesting! The mechanics seemed a little tough sometimes, but still looked fun.

This puzzle looks really cool.

It looks like a variation of moving blocks aroing inside a frame to get them in a set order but this time using the circular paths to guide them but doing so also aftects those on the same orbit.

This kind of a puzzle reminds me of my Rubiks slide that I would play with all the time, but it is of course more complex than a Rubiks slide

Love this puzzle it super reminds me of a puzzle from a hidden Object game (yes I play hidden Object games the ones by big fish games are really good, and I love the mystery too, plus I'm awful at most other games). But a real life version. It's so cool. Thank you for showing it. 😍😁

I actually grew up playing Upwords, and it was my most favorite that my grandparents owned

He needs to put foil or "shielding paint" behind, inside the plastic, where you would normally hold the puzzle. If that is tied to "positive" or "negative", it should help the sensor detect your finger as it passes over them. The issue with these sensors is that everyone has different inductance and EM absorption. (Diet, bad grounding, altitude, humidity, low iron, high or low sugar or salt...) The shielded paint might be the better option. They use it in old TV's to shield the RF radiation and in guitars "birds-nest boxes", to help reduce RF noise. In this instance, it brings the opposite sensors RF-fields into closer contact. It could also be his PCB wiring that may be interfering with the sensor too. Especially if there are traces close to the sensor for the lights or if the PCB was made in china and has a high lead or just a ground-plane built-in, between the PCB layers. Here, you don't want that ground-plane added. This would have looked cooler, in my opinion, if the LED lights were under the board and he used a clear PCB with a silkscreen that was just clear around the planets. The fiberglass in the PCB would have acted like fiber-optics and cast right through the exposed (unscreened) areas. (With a dab of epoxy, adhering the surface-mount LED to the PCB, inverted.)
