On June 28th 1978 around 8 AM a janitor at the Blackfriars bar/disco stumbled onto the worst crime that ever taken place in Boston up until that time. The suspects were arrested and tried but a jury found them not guilty. No one has ever been convicted of the crime and it remains "unsolved" until this day. #boston #gangsters #mafia #crime #massachusetts

I worked for the medical examiner at the time. The reason the scene was so gruesome and the men were "missing their heads" was because it was a small room in the basement and heavy buckshot was used in 12 gauge shotguns at point blank range. Five guys. It was a mess.

I don't know how people like police, medical examiners etc, can see such stuff and continue to work in the respective professions. I can see how many become alcoholics.

I tend to shy away from darker videos like this because most if not all narrators disrespect the dead for views. You have a way of respecting them while also informing your audience in a riveting way. Great stuff, good luck

As you know Jason it wasn’t only the FBI that railroaded those four guys; the entire US District Attorney’s office was in on it. We’ve come to expect such shenanigans by the FBI but when the entire Justice Department is in on it then a defendant’s goose is cooked. As happened here. And yes, when I was practicing criminal defense usually the cases were in the ditch by the time I got them because the prospective client thought he was smart enough to submit to an interview. Those guys doing the questioning do this all the time and they become expert at getting suspects to incriminate themselves. Great work as always.

Also described in the Patriot Ledger as "President of Rock-n-Roll" he wrote his biography "The Art of the Heist" in 2009. A 2021 netflix documentary "This is a robbery" describes Miles as a "legendary outlaw' "abetted by footage of him in mug shots handcuffs and photo's from a life of crime. Last heard he was still alive somewhere in western Mass. @@jasontrimmins8264

My PA grew up in southie he told me that when he was a kid he was warned by his brothers to stay away from a young Whitey. "He did things to little boys you shouldnt do." I guess he would get you to commit some sort of crime for him and then threaten to tell your parents if you didn't do what he wanted. Most kids there were more afraid of their fathers than the cops.
@jasontrimmins8264
@jasontrimmins8264 7 ай бұрын
Yeah Whitey was suspect although lots of people still love to defend which is crazy to me but to each their own. Absolutely kids were more afraid of their dads because their dads would beat their butts. Now you get locked up for disciplining your children that’s working out great for our country

@@jasontrimmins8264So about whitey I'm not an apologist for by any stretch of the imagination but there are some facts that I find interesting. So one I grew up in South Boston and I was in the mix to some extent, I've done a lot of time and I've never heard the child molestation thing until long after the guy was on the run now that doesn't mean it didn't happen but I find it curious that I never even heard a rumor of it. Now here's the thing I don't think he personally was actually a rat, HIMSELF . He was a rat by proxy.There's no 209 forms to back that he had never been in the Angiulo's office yet he was credited with the bug by he okayed a rat, Flemmi so he was a rat by proxy, but his actions afterwards aren't really the actions of a snitch. He didn't PC. Flemmi did, I was in ten block in Walpole when the feds were holding them there on special status the rest of us were on hole status, buy Flemmi was in there with a TV on federal status. I was next to him and I'd blow his power every Friday just to fuck with him. But Whitey died in pop.

I talked about them on my Cambodian gangs of Lowell vid and briefly in my Asian gangs of Lynn videos as well. I guess the ones in Lynn are at war with some Crips (I believe) right now. It’s pretty bad 5 people got shot between Christmas and New Year’s two dead.
