I’m excited to see what the blazers do. I think Sharpe and Simmons really have high potential. Sharpe just needs to stay healthy. I like the deni trade and clinggan pick aswell

Like I said. Championship team: Center Clingan PF Ayton SF Deni SG Sharpe PG Scoot. In Scoot We Trust. Let's GO BLAZERS

Nice overview and good information. The blazers are on the right trajectory. At times I had a hard time understanding what you were saying. You may want to slow down a little and focus on crisper annunciation.

I am high on Deni, I watched that 43 pt 15reb game he had and he is a great defender as well and I am very high on Clingen as a defender/rebounder and eventually a scorer. I am not sold yet on anyone else on the Blazer roster, lots of athleticism and "potential" but I have seen how often super athletes never accomplish anything in the NBA. Hopefully the odds are with the Blazers and either Scoot or Sharpe turn out. Getting Flag is too much to ask for, the NBA will make sure a major market team gets that pick.

Deni Avdija is best as a point forward. he played PG at high-school. they've changed his role from SF to point forward after the TDL and his numbers went to 20ppg 6apg 8rpg at that part of the season. ending with 15 6 4 the all season. True shooting 60%.
@therelaxingmind12414 күн бұрын
Make Deni a play maker and have Shaedon and Simons run through screens for easy buckets. Just like Draymond to Klay and Steph. This way the guards are not getting trap. Now they have Clingan too for defense. Make it work Chauncey
@Mugi7293 күн бұрын
Deni as a playmaker would be so good for the Blazers

Flagg is such a long shot. Even if the Blazers tank all the way to number 1 (unlikely, given the upgrades and, probable improved health), it's a coin toss. Odds only get worse from there. So, while we can dream, that's a tall order of chicken sandwich that hasn't even hatched yet.

Ace Bailey would be great too.

What’s gunna happen to duop reath he was a great steal from the g league hope we keep him in the rotation he’s been shooting 3s like crazy and setting strong screens

I'm not sure they must get Flagg (it will be nice). If Billups (or other coach) can make them be like his Pistons 2.0, it will be awesome.

I am not sold on Scoot Henderson. Undersized, cant shoot and injury prone.

Not scared of them, but they are shedding the label of joke and will need to be taken seriously. I like all the moves they've made in the offseason.
@GunninRebel553 күн бұрын
One of the most critical components we need to change if we wanna contend is coaching. Billups is likable but has no clue about X's & O's, tactics/strategy, or anything else a great coach needs. That's my opinion. Any thoughts @TNMugi??
@Mugi7293 күн бұрын
Agreed they may need an upgrade one name I’m thinking of is JB Bickerstar who lead the young Cavs team to success and has some experience with taller bigs ex: Mobley and Allen paired with smaller guards. However this is not the ideal time or market to switch coaches due to the lack of names imo

@@Mugi729 I agree a lot of great coaches have been taken off the market recently. I'd still like to get one of Sam Cassell, David Vanterpool , Dawn Staley, Micah Nori, James Borrego, or even Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson or an unknown who could be the next Mazzula or Diegnault. Chauncey definitely isn't ready. I'd also like Monty Williams if we trade Ayton. Ppl forget he won COTY and was up 2-0 in the finals until MIL benched Forbes for Portis, Giannis went crazy, and Chris Paul's crippling superstitions got to him. He was an assistant here under McMillan and I believe would be great for our young core and vets.

I hope you're right. It's sounds good when you say it but drafting a center on the first round is unwise. Didn't work with Sam Bowie and didn't work with Greg oden. It's hard to be a fan of Portland, they have one of the worst drafting teams in the history of the nba. Two players since Clyde. Brandon Roy and lillard.

Too bad Fail Blazer management tends to squander acquisition of draft talent by wasting picks on bad players, overpaying in trades and flat out just giving them away for cash. Worst organization in the league. The team must be sold or nothing will change for the better.
