Great story; Excellent narration! Centuries from now, some student at Star Fleet Engineering will ask his Commander.... "Why do engineers have to speak in a Scottish accent?!" LOL!!!

Blink Drive. Now, we are here, now, we are there. Great for a surprise attack or operation. Then, add a little fight mano a mano against crews that never ever dreamed that they'd have to fight to defend their ship from some well trained boarding party.

You see, it was November 7th, or 8th, depending on how you're counting... and someone decided to fuck around... well there was a party that was scheduled a few days away and that got cancelled on account of this. Well, the attendees of said party... or ball... are the kind of people that will help you find out MOST EXPEDITIOUSLY and personally why it is a bad idea to fuck around in the first place.
