He's one of the greatest ballers to ever come out of the great white north. In his brief NBA career, he's already earned a reputation as one of the ultimate playoff performers of our time.

HE IS REALLY THAT DUDE.Its evident because nuggets are completely struggling without him!

Not even a nuggets fan but you're straight wrong, what part of #1 in the west looks like struggling? The only team leading them in assists are the pacers meanwhile the nuggets have the highest FG% and are tied with Dallas AND Philly for 2nd best defensive rating , it looks to me and everyone else that they're getting involved and not just that they're beating pretty much everyone, Murray is the fancy drink you get with your food, the food still tastes good without it. Saying they're struggling while they're number 1 takes away so much credit from such a carefully crafted and selfgrown team.

Very good analogy. It really explains Jamal Murray on this team. The are excellent without him but he is the extra bit that puts them in that championship contention conversation.

@@enjoyanxiety You forget they are number one because they started the season with him, after getting injured, they then lose to rockets and the pelicans, they can't make any noise in the playoffs without him
@enjoyanxiety
@enjoyanxiety 7 ай бұрын
@loveaintshit Ok but they are 4-2 since he's been gone beating the pelicans once and losing to them on the run back after beating the clippers. Besides in both of those losses they only lost by 3 and 5 its not like they got blown out. Murray is not their #1 option nor the win condition they just had bad shooting nights go look at their box score for that pelicans game ☠️

First player to have 10+ assist in each of his first four finals games, finished the finals averaging 10 assist. Only player to average 30 pts on 50-40-90 efficiency in conference finals history. Murray and Jokic are the only teammates to both have a 30 pt triple-double in the same game and they did that in the finals. Murray has 4 playoff 4th quarters with 20+ pts which is the most in the last 25 postseasons, the next closest is Iverson with 2. The last 25 seasons spans many legends entire careers such as kd, curry, dwade, kobe, iverson, tmac, lebron, a good chunk of shaq's prime which makes this stat even more impressive. Scores a lot on great efficiency and has been a great secondary playmaker.

In his fist time going to the playoffs('18-'19) he didn't play particularly well the first 3 games. In game 4, Denver was trailing and on the verge of going down 3-1 when Jamal suddenly exploded and scored 17 or 18pts in the 4th(the first instance of what we refer to as a Murray Flurry) which helped the Nuggets escape with the win(which was their first in San Antonio in several years), and eventually won the series. From that game 4 on, Murray was ballin in the playoffs, up until the 4th quarter of game 7 in the 2nd round against Portland, Denver had the lead but Jamal(along with the rest of the team) just ran out of gas. He took that loss personally, and was a big reason he absolutely went off next year in the bubble.

Crazy that Murray and the Nuggets lost to a Jimmy Butler lead Timberwovles to enter the playoffs but only to then win it all against the Miami lead by Jimmy Butler just a few seasons later😳

That Nuggets team that missed the playoffs had a better record than 3 Eastern playoff teams that year, and even had a better record than Jimmy's Heat last year.

They definitely do. They've been calling him that since his Kentucky college days, and has been able to stick around since he went to a team that also uses blue. There is a reason his does a bow and arrow celebration. Aaron Gordon even gifted him a chain with a blue arrow pendant last year. Please do some research before making false critiques.
