“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

Nah, i think he truly wants to make the cooperation works. That's what the whole trailer and Mandalorian post credit scene indicate, he wants to be a genuine boss who rule with respect.

What I just relised: It's not about a narration of the life of Boba Fett. Bobas "Book" is his moral and view of how things are/ should be done. "In my book, experience outranks everything". He wants to change things about the underworld.

Well it might be taking a jab at the wicked witch of Lucas films. This director, he basically took her job. Hence. "You sit on the throne of your former ruler" "I will rule with respect" "Please, speak freely" "Why not work together, then we all become rich" All issues stemming to the president of Lucas, and the mandalorian I think this trailer was very intentional, not just to reveal a new show

I don't think so. Lucasfilm probably just did Boba a general good guy so the mass audience can relate to him. Problem is, Boba Fett was very far from a good guy back in the original, but who cares I guess, it's Disney.

This looks great. My only gripe is I wish they would keep his helmet on. Adds so much more than the on-off. I also hope they explore his more villainous side. We had the anti-hero with Mando. It would he cool to have story telling from a villains perspective.

Although it would be cool to some, it would make no sense to his character. Boba Fett is not a Mandalorian, he inherited his armour from Jango who was a foundling. He's a rare character who happens to have Mandalorian armour, but he does not follow the religion or "code" that Mando and the others do.

"I'm here to make a proposal that's mutually beneficial. Why speak of conflict, when cooperation can make us all rich?" I like this line too. Both lines show that Boba is not trying to be a threat, nor everyone's best friend. He's only asking for respect and collaboration, so that everyone walks away with something. To him, compromise is more valuable than trust.

After loving Agents of Shield more than I probably should have, I was so happy to see Ming-Na in Mando, then so upset she died... then so excited she lived and w/ BOBA!! Now they're BFs? Taking over Jabba's empire? Temuera... there has never been a more serendipitous series of events that lead to a role like this in the history of cinema. You can see how aware of it he is in his eyes. Permanent twinkle ^_^ living an impossible dream and loving it. I Couldn't be happier about it :D

Real battlefront1 and 2 fans were hit the hardest when they heard a different voice actor for the clone wars series and ea battlefront series. My favorite of his lines is definitely " we are victorious" after winning a round of galactic conquest on the og battlefront1 as the clones

“Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect.” Jango Fett was said to be an honourable man. I believe that Boba is now trying to be the man his father would’ve wanted him to be. Ruling, doing whatever is necessary to get there however leading with respect and honouring his father.

@@robertewans5313 It's good writing when changing eras to have an inverse in the dichotomy of villains and heroes. In the original trilogy, villains were cartoony, and campy. The heroes were complex and not what they seemed. The inverse will likely be true here. Villains should mirror the hero. Enough to be similar, different enough to be memorable.

Beyond true. Well said! He deserves this. I also dare say that he’s doing some of the best acting of his career. Given his work on The Mandalorian, I have no doubt he’s going to hit every nail on the head in this show, and then some. It’s just so good to see such a beloved actor and character from Star Wars come back in this fashion. Especially under the craft of Temuera. I couldn’t be more ready for December.

Rather than a Mandalorian, the first to give clues to their existance. To Fett, the armor was just all that he left of his father and didn't seem to care much for the Mandalorians, propably because they were likely the ones who betrayed his father.
