Yes he delivered me from addiction, told me who to ask to help me since my family turned against me, get on your knees and cry from your heart for Jesus to fill you and to help you as you can’t do it without him, ask him to forgive you of all your sins and to take your life and change you to be pleasing unto him. The Lord is good always

Male dominated scripture? I don't know what you are reading, but it is not the Bible. That language sounds secular. Today their are a lot of lonely miserable women following their own judgment. There are a lot of men following their own judgment. If you 'disagree' with the Bible, maybe you don't understand what God is saying to you. Maybe?

The practice of multiple marriages is not God's will. If this happens in the church today, it should be questioned by leadership. Not legalism, but obedience. Man & woman are mostly equal, but like Christ is the Head, so is the man head of the house, though he is to love the wife like Christ loves the church. It is not a dictatorship, but a partnership, & why we are to only marry those of the household of faith, with someone who loves & is submitted to Jesus.
