One problem with this book is: most think it was written in the way it is being presented by chapter and verse in which its composed. That's not true. It was found in a compiled group of writings without chapters.

The book of Revelation was written to Jews. That is the perspective to understand it. The 12 apostles were sent to the Jews. John was one of the twelve. The OT Jewish references in the seven letters indicate a Jewish audience. The word "servants" in Rev 1:1, are identified in chapter 7. This is the key to understanding it.

Revelation 18:4 King James Version 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. ------------------------------------------ Revelation 6:9-11 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. ---------------------------------------- Romans 11:25-27 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. It is already HIS, The Kingdom is coming we need to be right with God in Christ and we have the honour that the Father wants to include us into His work of salvation and right standing with Him it is grace and mercy that the Lord Lets time take its course for the fulfilling of the number (before the Wrath) Shalom.
