Thanks for sharing your church online. I was in a car accident 4 years ago and due to a major concussion I am still unable to read and comprehend. Reading the bible is very hard to do. I listen to several KZfaq channels to get my scripture fill and by far you are the easiest to listen to. You speak truth and add some good humour. Thx

Agnes from Philippines... ..As i recall the story of Lazarus and the rich man, it never mentioned that Lazarus remembered his ugly days on earth but instead it's the rich man who were worried that he had still brothers who need to know and acknowledge God(no memories of sad days to those who were destined to be in heaven opposite to those who were condemned in hell)

I believe the people in hell will remember because that is part of their torment. Yo are right. The rich man remembers and is begging for his brothers to be ministered the gospel because he doesn't want his brothers to end in he'll, where he is. Luke 16:19-31 New International Version The Rich Man and Lazarus 19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ I dont believe dead people spirits come back either as some believe. 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

I am going to try to listen to more of the questions and answers again. I love and appreciate this playlist as I tried reading it on my own. You taught that if we know who the anti christ is, we’ve been left behind. Also, I thought half way through the tribulation, the antichrist would reveal himself / break covenant. I AM CONFUSED AND CONCERNED. 2 Thesalonians 2:3

Hi. The 7 years of tribulation will start immediately after the rapture and the Antichrist will come into the picture. But no body knows who was the Antichrist until he breaks the covenant after three and a half year and proclaim that he is God. Thank you

I love hiking and know who long it takes to hike the Appalchian Trail. Without the seas there will be vast lands to discover and cherish forevermore, as is said "The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it." - Revelation 21:24

Pastor Gary, I am a mother of two wonderful grown sons. You can see their photo with me here on this comment. My oldest is a pastor and an author, a retired Colonel/Chaplain of our U.S. Army. My youngest has traveled the world, speaks several languages, lived in several different countries and is such a blessing to me too. I also have grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am 79 this year. God has been good to me. God has been good to you too. It shows. This video on The Book of Revelation Question & Answers, was done two years ago. I just watched it today for the first time. You are a wonderful Bible teacher. However, there is something that bothers me about you though. I have watched you in these question and answser sessions with Austin a few times prior to this video. Then today Tyler is on with you in this question and answer video. Your attitude toward Tyler is disrespectful and condescending compared to your attitude toward Austin. Why? A while back I also heard you make a joke about Tyler acting like he is blonde, him being "spacy" or not "tuned" in to conversations. You thought you were joking. Instantly when I heard those comments in front of your church's audience I was stunned. You making a joke about your youngest son just to get a laugh at his expense, is what it sounded like to me. As a mother my two sons are different as night and day too but I would never treat them so disrespectfully as you do Tyler, especially in front of your congregation. If you don't make this right with both young men, and your congregation too, I am going to spend time with Father asking Him to pull you down to size as a dad. In fact, I am praying for this anyway. You might think you are funny but your son does not. He looks embarrassed. He hurts everytime you treat him like you do. And in front of the congregation!!! Tyler deserves better from you as his dad. Angry? Yes. This Momma is angry at you for this. Now make it right. Stop doing this or God will stop you Himself. You are on my prayer list for correction Dad. Clear this up.

@ 16:00 I think 1 Corinthians 15:24,28 speaks differently from your view, and I believe the transition will take place between Revelation 20/21 and at Revelation 21:3 that's when we will see the person of God.

On Jesus' 2nd coming, to physically rule on earth and we will see Jesus and dwell with him in the new Jerusalem, "Where will God the Father be?" ... perhaps still in the New heaven? Or will God and Jesus be 3in1 display as Jesus Christ for us to see? Thank you

No seas. I also heard that to the Jews, the sea was a source of fear. The "no sea" reference might be a calming thing to the Jews to let them know they will no longer fear the sea. I have no personal opinion on this, other than as a lover of all forms of water, I hope there is water to at least swim in (I've put in my wish list for a swimming pool at my home. ;-)

You seem to miss the point that the Millennial Kingdom is a fulfillment as per the prophecies of God's promises to His remnant Israel. Their Messiah as promised to them will reign as their King, Messiah, Lord. It has to happen before the New Heaven and New earth.

The seven years of tribulation will start immediately after the church was caught away ( Pre-tribulation rapture) 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 We love Gary Hamrick Don't you remember that when I was with you, I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him (Antichrist) back, so that he (Antichrist) may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work, but the one (the church) who now holds it back will continue to do so till he (the church) is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one (Antichrist) will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. For the mystery of........until he (the church) be taken out of the way. The "he" here is the Church, the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. If the head is a "he", so is the body a "he". Therefore, the church is being referred to as a "he" and not as a 'she". So, the restrainer is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is still around during the 7 years of tribulation. The Church will be taken out of the way because of the Pre-tribulation rapture and that day will also be the first day of the seven years of tribulation. The birth pains had started. The rapture of the church will be the next. Thank you.

With all due respect to Pastor Gary Hamrick, I hope that he is wrong about there being no more sea, as well as no more sun, moon, or night. I prefer to spend eternity on an earth with those things than on one without them. I don't care so much for streets of gold. And being told that I won't care that there won't be a sea, sun, moon, or night (or anything I enjoy in this life) in eternity brings me more frustration than comfort.

There is no future "war of Armageddon" It is a reference to all battles in the plain of Megiddo. The Jewish/Roman war was soon to take place..... as was all of Revelation. Chapter 1:1-3

No more sea is not a physical expression of the physical, real sea on earth. 2 Kings 16:17. The temple was completely destroyed (old heaven and earth) in 70ad.

You have to remember the Bible started out in Hebrew and then as it was translated into other languages...the words in other languages could be a little different because languages and their syntaxes can be different

The 144 thousand will preface to all nations

The 144,000 are Jewish people who repent, men and women. Just like the 10 Virgin brides are all the Church but not really all female (Right?). God has stated he has saved Himself 7000, He says He has 144,000 and in Zechariah 13:8-9 He says that 1/3 of the Jews will repent, so what is the truth? Well, God never lies, all three are the truth (of course). You see, God uses numbers a lot, 10 = Completion, 7 = Divine Completion, 12 = Fulness, 6 = Man, 3 = God/Trinity, 8 New Beginnings etc. etc. etc. So, look at the square root summation, 12 (Fulness) x 12 x 10 (Completion) x 10 x 10 = 144,000 and 10 x 7 x 7 x 7 = 7000, get it? and 1/3 of the Jews living on earth today = 5 million Jews getting saved. So, 5 million Jews (1/3), 7000, and 144,000 all = the exact same number in God's thinking/symmetry. Notice now how the 7 Heads and 10 Horns do nit have to be 7 and 10 to be COMPLETE ? Thus the 10 Horns can be 27 European Nations who are the Complete E.U. reunited.

@@MrRondonmon Please reread the referenced Scripture. The 144,000 and the innumerable are the same group. 'Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. ' Revelation 7:4,9 John "hears" and then he looks and "sees" - the two groups referenced are one and the same. Consider the Lion of Judah and the Lamb spoken of in Revelation 5 'Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. ' Revelation 5:5-6 John is told of the Lion but looks and sees the "Lamb" - indeed One Person, JESUS CHRIST. A correct (expositional) reading of Revelation eliminates the need for much of the speculation in these responses.

@@MrRondonmon Yes - the 144,000 is symbolic of all those sealed by GOD and are written in the Lamb's Book of Life before creation -n John "hears" these. The innumerable ones dressed in white who worship and praise the ONE seated on the Throne and the LAMB are the Redeemed (those written in the Lamb's Book of Life before creation) - these and the 144,000 are the same. Nowhere in the Bible is there mention of a two-part 2nd Coming or a "secret coming" (rapture event) before the 2nd Coming. It simply is not there.

@@KAlphonso The 144,000 have THE FATHERS name in their foreheads, they are Jewish/Israelis. The large number are from EVERY NATION. The Church and Israel have SEPERATE CALLINGS, just like you and I do.

Why a new heaven? I heard it's because currently, Satan still has access to heaven. (He is the accuser of the brethren.) Therefore, heaven is corrupted with his presence/sin. In order to cleanse heaven as well as the earth and remove all traces of past sin, He creates a new heaven and a new earth. It's not punishment, like He did with Sodom and Gomorrah, it's a cleansing. That's what I heard, anyway.

Luke 17:22-37 is the pre-trib rapture without a resurrection (verse 37). We leave our flesh on earth like a natural death. Our soul/spirit is taken to heaven for the wedding 🙂. 1 Thes 4:13-17 is the second coming with the one and only resurrection for the saints (John 6:40-54, 11:24, Rev 20:4-6, 1 Cor 15:52) which is on the last day, last trump. It doesn't make sense to have a resurrection pre-trib. There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies (1 Cor 15:40). Those in heaven today have a heavenly body. Rapture is nothing more than a verb. By itself, it does not identify an event.

The US isn't referenced in the Book of Revelation because the Book of Revelation does not speak to the 20th or 21st century. Revelation speaks to the "then" times and the "final" time (when CHRIST returns and sets everything right). Nowhere in the Bible is there a mention of a pre-tribulational rapture, i.e. a "2-part" Second Advent. Those with concerns about "being here during the "great" (again no mention in the Bible) tribulation, well you are living during the end times right now. The "millennial" kingdom is now, else how could CHRIST at HIS Ascension say "all power in heaven and in earth has been given unto me... therefore go unto all nationa..." Dispensationalism leads to all kinds of error and requires an imposition of bias and pre-text on the Holy Scripture (eisogeses approach to reading Scripture).

Gary is a great teacher however he is wrong on his teaching of tongues. Tongues is the manifestation that one has the Holy Spirit. Tongues is one of the nine gifts and also one does not know how to pray according to the will of God!! Paul said this!! The gift of tongues is for every believer. ….

Concerning The Rapture, it would be wise and prudent to avoid futile speculation when it will occur. Nobody,I mean nobody knows for sure, and he who says he does, is a fool. God has kept that hidden for a reason, but men still spend countless hours and writing numerous books on something they have no conclusive evidence about when it will occur.
