Oh boy what a journey this video was! Not only was I constantly interrupted while recording, one editing software corrupted the video and the SECOND would crash every time I rendered it! I had to reedit the entirety of this video in a THIRD program (Shout out to Davinci Resolve) to finally get it rendered. I swear the universe was telling me not to make this video 😂😂 But I persevered and only a day off my scheduled upload day.

oh i'm so glad this video popped up in my suggested vids!! you have such sunshine energy!! and your shelves are gorgeous, you have an incredible collection. thank you for making this video!! i can only imagine how much time and energy this took to make 💖 i'm a fantasy lover and i added so many of these to my tbr!! i adored priory of the orange tree and also am currently on the second book in the farseer trilogy and i think you're going to love them. i have shadow of the gods on my tbr too because i read and LOVED the first book in john gwynne's faithful and the fallen series (malice), so i highly recommend that one!! also i don't know if i missed it but if you haven't read ASOIAF by george r.r. martin, that series really shaped my fantasy reading!! :) p.s. yay a fellow mcelroy fan!!!!

omg I've never actually seen anyone else have Eon and Eona! they were two of my favorite books as a kid and I only just found the first book at a thrift store like last week, I need to keep trying to get my hands on the second one

I adored those books growing up! I think I found it in my school library and was obsessed. You also try looking on thriftbooks and bookoutlet too! I've seen both pop up on their sites multiple times 😁

Aw thank you! I LOVE this question! Romantasy is definitely one of my top sub-genres of ALL time so I think I have to go with that. BUT every time I'm in a reading slump, I turn to Urban Fantasy to pull me out. I call them my guilty pleasure reads haha

I love Dracula! I was so surprised how modern it felt as a reading experience. I was afraid reading an old book would be dry and boring but it was fantastic.

I'm a huge fan of Dracula as a concept but have been afraid to read it for fear I may hate it, but this gives me the confidence to finally pick it up!

I HIGHLY recommend The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne! If you like morally gray characters and goliath warring gods, it should be up your alley :) You have a beautiful collection!

Have you ever read the Maximum Ride series? If you haven’t I highly recommend it,I have most of the books but there are a few that are kind of boring to me so I just picked up the books that I liked,there’s also a manga adaptation and I have all 9 volumes of that.

I have not! It was always one of those books that floated around me during my childhood but not one I ever sat down and read myself. Perhaps I'll try the manga edition just to get a taste of it! Thanks for the rec ❤
