I think it’d be good if make some clarification on what happened to Alucard at the end and why he “disappeared” (Warning: wall of text incoming, also spoilers) So to understand what happened you have to understand Alucard’s powers and Schrodinger’s powers (the cat boy); as you know Alucard is a vampire and he drinks the blood of his victims, and every time he does he absorbs their souls (and powers should they have any), by the time he fought Walter he had 3,242,867 souls within him. This will be important later Then there’s Schrodinger, his power is to control his own personal Quantum state, allowing him to be anywhere and nowhere (it’s kinda like omni-presence tho not really, just on a smaller scale i guess), he’s based on the Schrodinger’s cat Theory where a cat would be placed inside a box with a poisonous substance in it, the cat in this scenario could be both alive AND dead, as its ultimate outcome is determined by a subatomic event that could either happen, or not, basically a paradox, and Hence Schrodinger’s powers as long as he can recognize his own existence he’s essentially immortal….unless he wishes not to be Now, this is how they both fit together: Millennium knew they couldn’t kill Alucard due to his absurdly vast reservoir of souls within him, so if they couldn’t kill him conventionally they’d use Alucard’s own weapon against him. They created Schrodinger, a living Paradox, to try to erase Alucard from existence. Hence they had Schrodinger willingly kill himself & drop into Alucard’s river of blood so that he’d inadvertently absorb his quantum superposition powers, which caused Alucard’s already fragmented being to divide even further by a nigh-infinite number of possibilities across individual, place and even time, Alucard could be anyONE, anyWHERE, anyWHEN. And because that power was applied to those 3-Mill+ souls Alucard couldn’t recognize who his true self was anymore so…..he “glitched” and faded out of existence….. And in those 30 years in which he didn’t exist he spent them killing every single one of those souls until only that of Schrodinger’s remained within his own. That way he could recognize his existence again and fade back into reality
