Mr Armar Bordner was my hubby's shop teacher at Northern Lebanon school (1970-75) We used to go visit him when he lived there...at Christmas time he had a big sleigh in the living room with presents in it...so neat..it makes me sad to see that the old glass windows are gone. We go back every once in a while...he had to fight a lot harder than you reference..We have a place we would like you to visit and post about ..It's on Powells Valley road South of Lykens...And Greenland which is a road off of Powells. Here is a link to a map...What are those circles is what we want to know??? www.google.com/maps/@40.5403235,-76.6286261,1202m/data=!3m1!1e3

Hello again. My uncle was the head of Ft. Indiantown Gap for many years and I did research on the blue-eyed six over one spring and summer years ago. My career has taken me far from PG, Cali, but I have an unstoppable interest in my hometown area, love your vids.

Hi Cliff, they really did an amazing clean up as the road going up there had big gouges taken out as I remember from last year and there was so much mud in the cabin and wasn't the porch area damaged ????. It looks amazing, will you be going to see that old beaten up truck in the woods that you said was another favorite place of yours ??. Thanks for sharing. x
@thewanderingwoodsman72275 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's still damaged, they have some caution tape around that spot.

What I don't understand where does alll that water come from. What a wonderful cabin. I don't think I would build along a creek unless the creek has high walls on each to keep it contained. Its to bad of the flood, water can do a lot of damage in no time. It is a beautiful cabin.
@JamesRobertSmith5 жыл бұрын
So many of the parks you visit are noisy with traffic sounds. Most of the parks you video seem to be surrounded by heavily traveled major highways. Are most of the parks in Pennsylvania that way? You know Mr. Bordner hated to see (and hear) I-81 get plowed through the top of the ridge. That had to hurt.
@thewanderingwoodsman72275 жыл бұрын
Not really, some are and some are not

What a serious shame that the state abuses the funds needed to seal up this house.Ive been there numerous times just to share a bottle of wine and some deep reflections of the past.We should not let this fine home go to waste .At this point of time the state only uses this as a amusement.

Hi, grew up in PG, my dad was remotely attached to the project. We were so sad that they made people move and then ignored the project for 50 years. As a teenager and young man (using my wife's email) I used to be able to drive from PG to the cabin in just 15 minutes, traveling south into Lebanon country we were seduced by the sound of the swatara all the way to the cabin and beyond and we crossed over the swatara just past the iron bridge in Greenpoint. Is that still considered a town or an area?
@thewanderingwoodsman72275 жыл бұрын
You won't find Greenpoint listed on any maps, but the locals know its there.
@cassiemartin85365 жыл бұрын
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 Thanks for the info on Green point. I guess you have been to the wonderful soft ice cream spot just north of the Indiantown gap exit to the left. Is it still there?

Orbs in camera view at cabin, (you did not cut away. nor wipe lens) and Closed Captions says [Applause] in various places in this video and you are not clapping!! This place needs a 3am challenge! :p I have watched a few of your videos now and not seen this phenom with CC. I do however, see exactly this phenom in real actually haunted videos. It is in my opinion that the spirits make connections we cannot detect or see with the naked eye much via the waves (radio in particular). This is my new way of proving things not faked, but actual paranormal things happening. Also, this method is not being used by anyone else that I know of. Anyways out of at least 10 vids I have seen from you none have done this, none! I have yet to watch one with any such words as creepy, weird, paranormal etc in the title. Well one was the horror of the couple killed bout 30 yrs back. Even that did not have odd CC things.. I will list below times 3:39 for 4 seconds CC = [Applause] not form you walking, as it started after your crunchy walk. Check it out brother! ;) 5:23 arrival at awesome cabin! focus glitchy 5:29 CC = [Applause] 5:37-5:41 [Applause] (4 seconds long) Also 5:37 orb forming in right hand side of screen 5:38 even more orbs (it's not drops of rain, as you do not wipe lens) 5:45 more magical orbs (you are not pointed at the sun, sooo, yeah orbs) 5:47 *poof* orbs just vanish 6:27 CC = [Music] (are you jamming out dear? don't think so!) Sooo yeah a little spirit activity there, but I would live there in a heart beat too. It is magical and beautiful all the water rushing and cascading.
