I'm from North East England, and have adhd, so it's impossible for me to speak slower. 😔 Chapter heads might be a good idea though.

Hah, love it! Most videos I have to play at 1.2 -> 1.6x speed. What a treat to find someone just speaking normally in a video, not trying to slow it down to eek out every second to make a longer video. I'm subscribing simply for this. Now I'm going to watch the video. Keep it up! Hope to see your channel grow.

I’ve got a brain injury and struggle to keep up with anyone talking quickly, but that’s why videos are so good for me (compared to other methods of learning) - pause button and rewind for the win! 👌👍 Thanks for making this content 🙏 I always lean a lot from your videos.

I was so disappointed when I had to do my PhD on it after my original project fell through. But turned out to be such an interesting period in Earth's history. Some of the sedimentary rocks I have from this time are super weird and we have no idea how they formed.

OMG! I knew I recognised you! You're a fellow Birkbecker. You won't remember but you were there when I went to an open day for those with offers-you'd just started at Oxford. I did Planetary Science and Astronomy. So cool you've similar interests. I fell down a convergent evolution/paleobiology rabbit hole and haven't stopped yet lol.

@wildfirex666 no way! How exciting! I'm giving an online astrobio talk at BBK on the 22nd of this month. One of my thesis chapters is published, there's a link in this videos description, the rest is in the process of being published.
