bornonthe rimofchaos I live in Chapel Hill, NC they have a program called Music empowerment where they proved free 40 minute one on one lessons once a week for the kids in the district. My boys been playing for 3 years now but I only found out by accident about it. My oldest plays guitar, my middle son plays the drums and my youngest plays the piano( keyboard) . They provide the instrument if you don’t have one.

Well as somebody who was taught a violin, the props is to the family. The first 3 years are hard and kids don't want to do it and need to be pushed. Unlike other instruments it takes a while before you get to cool stuff.

I think it’s absolutely beautiful how even though a violin cannot relay the exact words of a song, this instrument is still capable of capturing the same tones and melodic flow of a verse. Crazy big shoutout to these musical magicians.

Reauxs Smith I know what you men. But music is always cool. My boyfriend played the tuba and was on the drum line in high school band. I played the clarinet. Teaching music at a young age makes kids smarter (seriously) but yes , I wish kids didn’t think band or orchestra was lame and for nerds.

The street scenes were shot in the Fairfax/La Brea section of Los Angeles, near West Hollywood. Not sure where the other shooting locations were, like the stairwell scene.
