Stormfront could be a natural brunette, which, if my 8th grade biology understanding of genetics is correct, means that they have a roughly 1:4 chance of producing a blonde child. But that's making the assumption that she dyes her hair black. To make fewer assumptions, they specifically said they wanted Soldier Boy's "genetic material" for an "experiment" so my guess would be that this could still be possible, because Vought is not above tampering with the genetics of their new American Hero Wunderkind to make him look as perfect as possible for the American people to gawk at. Eye color, I don't put much stock in. It's hard to select an actor who's both perfect to play the character you want them to, and have the perfect eye color. You can use color contacts, but I've heard those don't always give perfect results. And when we're talking about blue eyes, that's not an easy thing to find. I think it's between 8 and 10 percent of the population that has blue eyes. Now imagine how many of those are good actors, and how many of those actors are able to play the role the way that the director wants them to. And I'm pretty sure the genetics behind eye color are more complicated than hair color. Because you have things like hazel eyes which kind of imply that there's a lot more than just 1 or 2 alleles involved.

It makes perfect sense, whose the only other supe that's been shown to fly, Stormfront. The stuff about getting Maeve's eggs was foreshadowing what they did, Stormfront was all in on eugenics and talking about getting Homelander's genes etc.

The only problem about this is that I don't see Stormfront not knowing about it, or at least suspecting it. She's displayed a deep emotional bond about her daughter, so I can't see her not trying to reach out to Homelander sooner if he was her son. My guess he was birthed by a surrogate, but even if Liberty/Stormfront donated her eggs to the 'experiment', she'd still try to establish a parental relationship with him. I can't see Vogalbaum or Vought being able to do much to stop her from trying.

Compound V doesn't work for adults. Kimiko and A-Train were able to take it because there body was already able to adapt to it.

In the show it was stated that it was very difficult and very messy and there was a reason Vought avoided doing it because the the side effects COULD be fatal, which is exactly my point. Someone may try to take it in desperation with dire results.👍

Other than Homelander being immune to SB's powers, I think you're right about how it works. They showed Homelander's powers beginning to fade when he was pinned down at Herogasm, which is what prompted him to dig deep and use everything he had to push them off and escape. He felt first-hand his power fading when his eyes flickered between red and normal, almost like a cocktail of fear and adrenaline. He panicked. It's what has him so spooked now--and why the conversation with Maeve about SB's ability to strip supes of their powers took place. He went down there for information regarding that incident. Though I don't think SB will burn away their powers, and subsequently, the effects of the Temp V. I think that's "permanent" damage that will require them to take actual Compound V. I think Annie will be the one to administer it. We only see her grab a singular vial for Kimiko, but it cuts away after reads the notes on Temp V's effects, leading me to believe she grabbed a few more vials in case Butcher doesn't go through with telling Hughie about its dangerous effects.

The vial she got wasn't completely used up with Kimiko, so there should still be enough Compound V for Hughie and Butcher

@@LockeNarshe Unless those notes stated infusion of Classic V would reverse Temp V damage, I just don't see Annie willing to experiment on them.

No one knows if it wouldn't cause anymore damage. I think Annie or Maeve might end up getting depowered in a confrontation with Soldier Boy and will re-innoculate with the remaining serum to restore their abilities

He was dead already when the fight happened and he just could've been somewhere else during the training scene or not part of the team yet.

That's not entirely true. In Season 3 - Episode 3, when Grace Mallory is telling Butcher about her time in Nicaragua in '84, you can see plain as day that one of the members of 'Payback' -- named Swatto -- could fly. In fact, that Supe's flying really ticked off Grace at the time, for essentially showing the enemy where to aim their gunfire.

You're not wrong. A-Train, being a Supe, is strong enough that he can tug a train behind him as he walks. Ergo, a punch from a normal Hughie would be like MM hitting Supe-Butcher with a baseball bat, but even weaker. Therefore, he was surprised because Hughie hit him way harder than he should have been able to.

Especially as a viewer since we know exactly what is taking place in the story, and it definitely gets extra complicated when Homelander is doing literal political rallies rather than just being "the most popular superhero." I'd be interested to hear the writers talk more about Todd, because at least in the beginning, I feel like he was _trying_ to do the right thing. I'd be curious if he was getting into the Homelander hype as a way to connect to his stepdaughter and it got way out of hand or if he was already a fanboy and just went along for the ride.. Characters like that kind of fascinate me. I have a stepdad that I've called "Dad" for as long as I can remember and he legally adopted me as a child. Biological father was never in the picture. Todd seemed to be acting appropriately, maybe, at first? They were taking photos together and everyone was helping with the party. The mother said the daughter insisted on the hero theme, if I remember correctly. I can only imagine what Todd was told about why M.M. and her relationship broke up when last they were together I think they were going into protective custody until M.M. left The Boys. This might explain why Todd feels like he's in the right thinking he needs to step in as a father when M. was putting them in danger and his wife left.. Still, saying that to someone's face, there's probably a fist coming. At some point it definitely became irresponsible for him to be bringing the child there. Whether it's Soldier Boy or just the rhetoric, a responsible person wouldn't have taken her, definitely. But... If we give that little dork every benefit of the doubt and say that he genuinely believes that everyone is lying about the danger and he's just excited to show his stepdaughter her favorite superhero, I can at least understand how he wouldn't register it as a deal big enough to even ask anyone about it. I think that's more what I meant? But otherwise, I think we agree on how we feel about it. I'm just very intrigued about exactly what Todd was thinking and when things switched. The comparison between COVID and Soldier Boy is kind of a half joke, but I feel like they did put a few very specific lines in there on purpose to make a connection, lol.

Kimiko is like Hughie and I guess Annie understood it. Hughie did it or does it not becouse of pure power hunger but becouse he wants to save the person he loves. He worries for her each day when she is in that tower with HL the biggest psycho so like Kimiko wanting power to protect Franchie he wants power to try and protect Annie.

I really like annie, i just dont like 2 things, how she doesnt even try to be empathetic towards hughie and how her character makes people/fans show double standards and be hypocrite. Just one small example from this episode: she easily understands kimiko desire to have her powers because she wants to save who she loves. However that is unacceptable for hughie. But honestly you should lookup "hughie teleports with annie" on youtube and read a couple comments. Maybe that shows a new perspective instead of the ridiculous "perfect annie and bad hughie"
