@@user-nr7nn6pq8y I think it has more to do with the fact the Russia and America have always had a feud between each other never really agreeing with each other on almost anything really. The boys portrays your country as anti sup because America in this reality is so pro sup that Russia came to see them as a threat to their country, hence the graphic graffiti depicting super humans attacking russia ultimately recognizing them as monsters created by capitalism which would explain why the Russian government would be secretary working on a way to strip them of their powers ultimately “neutralizing the threat”. Then again the fact that Homelander killed an innocent child in Africa with his lazier vision on camera then started dating a 100 year old nazi gave them a bad rep. Plus the fact that vot and Compound V were created by a nazi scientist who came to America probably didn’t help with with their global PR rep. Ad that plus the fact that unfortunately your country is predominantly conservative, and views same sex luv as taboo (thus u have homelander kissing black noir graffiti) the fact that vot came out as pro lgbt after homelander outed queen Mav for being a lesbian only caused conservative Russians as a whole to resent them even further.

@@belankanazuly8740 there were churches in the USSR. In fact, the Soviets were known to recruit orthodox priests as KGB spies. The current Russian Orthodox Church patriarch, Kiril, was a former KGB agent.

@@gamer7916In the USSR many churches were destroyed and many priestes your arrested or sentence to death. The USSR officially was an atheastic country. Yes, there were priestes who served in KGB but there was very very very very few.

@@user-pv3py7ii7g except there were branches of the Russian Orthodox Church who supported the USSR, and the Soviets, despite being atheist, saw them as being useful tools in propagandizing support for the communist regime. An example of this were the renovationists, who were Orthodox Church members who supported the USSR. In fact, the Soviets were known to exile, imprison or even execute priests and bishops who were against renovationism and give their churches to renovationists. Later on, there was metropolitan Sergius who declared full loyalty to the soviet regime, something commonly referred to as Sergianism. Eventually under Stalin, the Russian Orthodox Church became fully under the control of the USSR, imprisoned priests were released, churches were reopened, and orthodox seminaries were reopened or set up. In fact, under Stalin, the Russian Orthodox Church within the USSR was completely under Soviet control and all the ordained members had to have approval by the KGB, including both former metropolitan patriarch Alexius II and current patriarch Kiril. Not only were the priests trained to be informants, but they were also used to influence public opinion towards supporting the Soviet regime.
