For all the people who are like: GET A GASS ONE. Its kind of obvious in the video, that their mom is worried of them getting hurt, and it doesn't matter if your a goody two shoes, a gas dirtbike, or a "real" dirtbike can hurt anyone. You can hear the nervousness in her voice as the kid just tried to push away.

I'm 11 and I'll be ridding 250s next year give the kids a real one look how exicited they are of they ever wanted to race motocross and they got a gas one all of their freinds would be like going so fast and they would be like what where's he battery and they would know anything and they would lose every race because they weren't taught with proper equipment and tools

Ha I just bought the mx650 for myself. I needed something to learn on and to ride around my neighborhood. I live in a apt. So a riding a gas 2 stroke dirt bike is a no no. My bike goes a good 20 mph. and it holds a charge for a long time. I love my bike. Your kids will love theirs. Don't listen to the stupid people on here. Get a gas when u feel comfortable. Electric is just as fun. I'm 31 years old and this bike gets me around my small city just fine. Lol. And the plus side is no cop harassment, no gas pay, and no bus fair just charge and go. Lol. I'm getting my motorcycle license so I'll be donating my by to a kid that can't afford one. Your an awesome mom cause the look on your kid face when he saw that bike was priceless

Wow, thanks for all the nice comments, but what is with people who bash on a 7 year old child. You must not have children and if you ever do I hope no one ever speaks about your child like that. My son was so excited...just wanted to share. Thanks for everyone who stuck up for my family and the fun suprise the kids got. He did get a gas bike a few months later from a friend and LOVES it.

Honda's are reliable but that was mainly because of the XR's. The trail/enduro bikes are reliable. Pretty much ALL main brands' trail/enduro bikes are reliable, some more than others, my friends have got 7 Suzuki's and all have been very good, they are all trail/enduro bikes, my friend has a 2010 CRF450X and he has a lot of valve trouble, my other friend has had nearly every brand and he thinks they are all close for reliability. I have had a Yamaha TT-R230 and it was good, I now have a YZ250f.
