Love that Jensen is playing Soldier Boy, he was one of the final 2 picks to play Captain America in the MCU. Had to drop out because of Supernatural

Wouldn't have worked, Jensen is not nearly physically imposing enough to play Captain America. Doesn't matter how much muscles he puts on, he will never give off an unstoppable vibe, not like Chris Evans does.

Alright so the Boys are finally leveling the playing field like in the comics!! And it looks like in addition to the usual super strength they are getting individual powers. Which is completely awesome.

Looks like he's gonna be the Dark Knight in this new animated movie universe they've been building ever since Justice League Dark: Apocalypse War reset the timeline, and I'm here for it.

To this day, one of my favorite bits is in the press conference in the first episode where Daniel-san's girlfriend is talking about the Vought corporate stuff and The Seven, and they show those hero shots of the different superheroes and Transluscent is just a blank screen with a backdrop and some smoke.

Fun fact: This scene of Butcher at the beggining of the trailer is a reference from Doom (2005 movie) when Karl Urban's character looks at the mirror and realises his wound was cured and the movie shows a sequence on first person perspective.

Literally everything about this trailer is perfect. The cuts/transitions. The song choice, the way the remixed it, the satisfying way it's synced to the visuals. The fact that no words are said. The lack of censoring. The way it shows new things while leaving more questions. The visual parallels between The 7 & The Boys. Ackles being seen but not too heavily focused on. And the energy...perfection. Just sad it's still 3 months away! Sorry for the paragraph, just had to gush & share the hype

This is easily one of the best shows of the modern era. Novel, gritty, action packed, and still somehow hilarious underneath it all. An awesomely thought provoking parody of humanity as a whole and society as well. The only series that has ever really explored what the world would actually be like if superheroes existed. DC? No. Marvel? Sure, for my six year old. The Boys? Yes. The Boys Season 3? YES!

"Comic accurate" is a phrase given far more importance than it deserves. So far this show is better, because of the things it did differently
