The Brady Bunch may seem corny to many young people today. But, it was really a very good family show that highlighted so many good family values that are so rare these days because the family unit has been degraded so much. But , this is my favorite episode. This just ate on Jan, till she couldn't stand it anymore. It's teaches so much about, integrity, honesty, character and honor. I never felt right about getting away with anything that I knew was wrong again.. That's something that can only come from good parenting... or maybe shows like this.. It's where I learned it.
@darrendoyle5682 ай бұрын
I never understood why ratings weren’t higher show should’ve had a longer run
@scooteranthony62972 ай бұрын
@@darrendoyle568 They had a pretty decent run. 5 years and alot of reunion shows.. But the kids had all grown.. Can't really have a Brady Bunch when they are moving out, going to college or getting married.. But they also couldn't compete with shows like All in the Family and Mary Tyler Moore, Sanford and Son, etc.. They did a really cool thing on the HGTV channel a couple years when they got them all together and to help converted the inside of the actual house you always saw in the show (from the outside), to what you actually saw on the show from the inside.. They all were still just really good people .. The HGTV people fell in love with them..

Jan wouldn't have gotten in trouble. It wasn't her fault that the Scores were Miscalculated. As for Jan's Hair, according to Barry Williams (Ex-Greg), he said Eve Plumb's Mother was always brushing and combing her hair while on the set. That was a very noble thing she did.

If I were Nora Coombs I would have thanked Jan personally for what she did and even ask that some Flowers or something be given to her for her honesty. "Sometimes When We Lose, We Win." Carol Brady was so right on about that. Look at the Kids who lost on American Idol but still did well for themselves. Clay Aiken, Adam Lambert, and Jennifer Hudson who not only sang for The President, Won an Oscar, Golden Globe, Bafta (Europe's Oscar) and was a Judge on both The Voice US/UK whose protégé won. She even visited the set of Britian's Longest Running Soap Opera Coronation Street and pulled a Pint.

I am right with ya on that one. Jan was my favorite. But they all turned out to be really nice people in real life. .They each had their own challenges like many of us.. But all have turned out ok, and all are still very close to each other like a real family. That series on HGTV when they helped turn the Brady House that was always seen from the outside, but was never where they actually filmed the show, into the real Brady House, was amazing... They said who they are now, had alot to do with their co-star parents Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. People today call the show corny, but I say it was as wonderful family show as the The Waltons was.

It's not as uncommon as you think. For example, on the UK Soap Opera Coronation Street, Summer Spellman spent the Day as part of a Class Assignment to learn about The World Of Work. She noticed that a miscalculation was done on an Invoice and saved the Company Thousands of Dollars. The PA Alya was so angry and embarassed but she's Type A who can't accept or acknowledge she's sometimes wrong.
