Im glad they added the feature of changing the battery without removing it from the case. That was way easier.

At 5:38 you said the filters are the only piece of maintenance we would have to worry about? What about the annual replacement of the two sieve beds?

Potential users should be careful about the "up to 13 hours of battery life." People who sell these love to talk about "up to" a big number but never say "...and as little as 2 hours of battery life." I have a G4 with a double battery that's less than a year old. The Inogen website says that double battery will provide power for "up to five hours." On setting 1, the lowest, maybe that's true. On setting 3, the G4's highest, my double battery runs out of juice in one hour and ten minutes. An honest statement about battery life would be "It will run on a double battery for somewhere between one and five hours." You'll never hear that unless you dig.

@Jack Steward COPD patients can be rich or poor or (most likely) somewhere in between. And the people who buy portable O2 concentrators are definitely not on the lower end of the income distribution - these are expensive convenience devices marketed to and bought by those who can afford such luxuries. I agree that deceptive sales practices abound in this industry as they do in many others. Anywhere you see "up to" or "as much as" or "as low as" or "starting at" your antenna should go up. These are sales techniques, not design considerations nor "corporate bonuses" whatever that means.

Is there place or branch that can i buy this machine in the philippines?? And hm?
@independent23682 жыл бұрын
My friend got one recently and the manuel says that they are only good for about 5 years of service and was thinking thats how long the battery should last. The machine itself should be good for at least 10 years or more if well maintained and doesn't sound right to me. Maybe the manufacturer is trying to get people to purchase new ones after 5 years, and then they resell them to medical supply companies as refurbished lol. Does anyone know what the details are on them, something doesn't sound right

Does the device offer *continuous* flow? How many liters flow rate?
@MrWhaatay4 жыл бұрын
No it is not continuous flow. It will do a maximum of 1.26 liters per minute pulsed.
@independent23682 жыл бұрын
No one makes a continuous flow that is small and portable yet, they are all large home units unfortunately
