I was impressed at the versatility of this boat and wanted to share not just how big you can get the
wake and wave, but also how slow you can go and still have a clean wake. This means you can have lower risk, yet high reward fun behind the boat. So... I got my hands on the brand new #S23 for the day so I invited my good friend David Maus Jr over to check it out and see what he thought of it. He owns a #G21 and spends tons of hours on the water w his family and friends so I wanted his initial reaction as he explores around the interior and gets behind it for a wakesurf and even a wakeskate shred! Thank you for the video. I always look forward to your latest release. Nautique should do a sweepstakes giveaway on this boat. Entries for contest could come from the purchase of Nautique gear, accessories, clothing, etc and entrants would have to subscribe to your channel... Great way to promote the new release of the boat. Great way to boost the KZfaq channel subscribers. I know Nautique doesn't have to give away anything, but it would generate serious hype for the S23 and would also create increased exposure for the Nautique Brand (which in today's competitive wake and surf market is never a bad thing) . Just a thought. What say you Shaun Murray? Good idea or bad?? Thanks again for your content.

I watched your video on the Nautique channel about this boat. Now you have a review on your youtube channel. I understand the difference in the look of the bow and the other slight design/specs changes. But I still do not understand the true purpose or how this model fits into their product line. I owned a GS20 and now have a G23. My dealer is having trouble explaining the differences. I believe it is about price since the specs and features are not as strong as a G. But please please someone be honest and explain how this boat fits into Nautique's line. I love their boats! I just want to understand.

They wanted to have a traditional bow boat as a nod to the Nautiques of the past but capture the new experience of a Nautique, especially a G.

I don't like the exterior shape of any of the newer boats they look like bathtubs to me... but if it helps make the wake bigger it's all good 🤙

Always good to see ya pop in the comments Matt! Boats have gotten massive. I enjoy the experience while hangin in them, riding behind them. Towing...little bigger these days. Wash'n em, lot more to do. When they are clean, look real noice though!

Not a fan of the look of it, I personally thing it looks like a bathtub, but it does roll a mean wake. We ended up with a Centurion instead of a Nautique. It wasn’t cheap, but Nautique boats are becoming unreasonably expensive. I guess thats what you get for for the nicest fit and finish available. Love both brands, but you’ve got to sell a kidney and your house to afford a Nautique.

I also wasn't a fan but applied a different colour scheme on the designer....not too bad, has grown on me since. But you're so right, boats are inasanely expensive!

Trying to make the same decision myself. If you test rode the Nautique and Centurian which models and which boat did you prefer? Or were there some other criteria?

@@john-zf1yb We actually ended up with a Centurion Ri237. Nautiques have the nicest fit and finish, but Centurions roll a better wake in my opinion. The wakesurfing wake is the most customizable wake on the market and might be one of the biggest. The Nautiqe and Centurion wakeboarding wake is pretty similar, but for the price Centurion is a greater boat. You're mainly paying the extra Nautique price for the name and immaculate finish. Centurion is a lesser known brand among wakeboats, but provides a better wake in my opinion. Centurions run deep v hulls like a traditional boat, which causes it to run good in rough water. For the price, i'd go Centurion.
