Here is something as new as it gets for this channel. This is an unboxing to the just released and shipped Toyota Land Cruiser 40 by Tamiya on the CC-02 Chassis. Item Number 58715A. I pre-ordered this from Tower Hobbies the day they began taking orders in February and its here. The CC-02 Chassis has been on my wish list for a while now. The Toyota Land Cruiser 40 has been a staple subject for Tamiya since 2008. It first appeared on the CR-01 crawler chassis then later the simpler CC-01 cross country chassis. It should be a fun build for you! The Bronco was fun. The chassis goes together well and does not take too long, most of your time will be in the body! Have fun with it and depending on how you plan on driving it will depend on the high rang gearing or the low range gearing. Locking the diffs is kind of a given, it you don't the thing will spin all the time trying to go over or through anything more the street or grass driving! Locked wit the low range makes for a good trail truck and in high it will be a bit faster but struggle to get over obstacles smoothly. It will do it but it will bind up and then launch over them instead of slowly climbing over.

Good stuff. I will likely go with the low gearing with diff locked for trail running. There is an area with a rocky creek that we like to play in. I think it will be a fun drive there.
