Gotta be brave to enter the year of 2018! As such I'm bringing you a fun total conversion today: The Brave New World!
The story here is that it's ten years after the events of 9/11, and an evil corporation has been polluting the earth, been causing global warming, and has been entering different dimensions to acquire new weapons to sell to governments. A group of hippies calling themselves the Hippie Commie Tree Huggers has employed Duke to take out the leader of the evil empire, Sandt Industries.
But just who is the head of Sandt Industries? Why it's Mikko Sandt, the very person who created this TC! Is that you behind the sunglasses, Mikko? Anyways. he's caught wind that Duke has been sent to kill him, so of course he employs the alien scum to stop duke from carrying out his mission.
In my opinion this was a very well made mod, the level designs were nice with references to things like The Simpsons, Blink 182 , and Eiffel 65; the music was kickass, and it was a pretty tough challenge to boot. It also replaces the pistol with an mp5/9600, and the chaingun cannon is now a p90 from Counter Strike. Last but certainly not least, the final map was inspired by, and some of the music, came from one of my favorite games of all time! Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment.
