Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' video.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

One of the things I really enjoy about watching you demolish these challenges is how it allows me to explore how English cuisine has changed (or... hasn't!) since I was last there. I can say that it's REALLY changed since I was there in college (1991) and people looked at us like we were daft when we asked about a good BBQ place. One of these days when we can travel again, the wife and I are planning to come over and hit some of the spots you've highlighted. Not so much for the challenges, per se, but just to get try some of the amazing looking grub. Keep it going!

Seeing this reminded me of when I was an apprentice doing day release at Preston college me n the lads in our class (every Friday) used to get a "dustbin lid" butty for elevenses It was big but this is a complete monster. My family is all from Tynesmouth, and that area. They all immigrated to America in the late 50's. They each bought an acre of land side by side out in the middle of no-where. My street consisted of 4 families, all mine. Great grandmother, grandparents, my parents, and my great aunt and uncle (great uncle was from Yorkshire). I had a charmed childhood growing up with my family all around me. My parents are still alive, but everyone else has passed on, and I miss them, I joke that I was raised on a British street in rural Utah, USA. I hope to find any relatives still living in England, or perhaps visit one day.
