The Iron Hands deserves more love and respect considering they are a legion built on both trauma of the loss of their father, and shame for their view on their bodies for being weak. The Iron Hands and their successors have broken and shattered so many enemies of mankind that they are a hammer that breaks anything in their path. The Brazen Claws no doubt deserved every honor and glory given to them for their service to Imperium, and while their father never publicly show his love for his sons he nevertheless will be proud of them for fighting against the foes of mankind for so many years.

Man it’s rare to see Iron Hands successors. I think I know of more Raven Guard successors then then Iron Hands successors which feels like it should be the other way round

I had an epiphany. Balder isn't all apologetic and service-oriented because of his personality or duty as a content creator. He's role-playing a goddamn servitor. It's all a part of his bit!

I always liked their paint scheme, it's one of these pretty difficult to pull split colorsheme, but it looks very good and unique with the great colors used in other chapters like the crimson fist.

I love this so much. I love the Iron Hands and their successors. And the Brazen Claws are so cool in their willingness to just go crusade in the warp for a while. If you do another, I'd recommend the Red Talons. Related to the Brazen Claws, being spawned from the same as clan after the heresy. And Autek Mor is just such a cool character. Dropping a whole moon on the planet.

As I watch this video, I can't help but be reminded of how Sanguinius transformed his legion of murderous barbarians (who were becoming shunned and feared up until that point due to their bloodlust) into one of the most respected and iconic chapters throughout the imperium. He simply used his charisma, kindness, and incredible leadership and battle prowess to bring his sons back from the brink, and his efforts to do so have echoed throughout the ages. I can already picture Sanguinius taking the time to inscribe beautiful artwork and iconography into the battle armor of his sons, taking what was once a simple tool of war and transforming it into a symbol of something noble and heroic (and his sons would be in awe that their primarch would take the time to give them such a monumental gift).

I have seen this chapter in many different editions of Codex Astaties over the years. Mostly they are just a picture of the colors with a tag. Thank you, most lore wise Servo Skull for filling in a biscuit of wisdom. Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Thrown! Farts for the Inquisition! Comments for the Algorithm!

So I have a question, if I may, concerning the Iron Hands and their many various successor chapters. As you stated, the Iron Hands, et al, are of the opinion that the flesh is weak and must therefore be replaced with iron, (iron within, iron without) however have they not released the slippery path that they are reaching for will make them more like the Men of Iron? It’s head cannon, but I see most chapters using bionics as war zone treatment for lost limbs, if the marine lives then they will grow him another limb, eye, etc and replace it.
