Charlamagne doesn't understand artistry, he's pure critic. He's constantly telling Kanye "I like this, I don't like that" and Kanye just nods because he knows that that is part of his artistry, he knows that people aren't going to like everything.

Tom Abramoff Charlemagne doesn't know how to really listen to music , you can tell. listening to music isn't hearing it once or twice and deciding weather you like it or not forever. you need to give things a chance and understand a song completely before having an opinion on it. a lot of people don't realize thats how you get into different music. not everything should be enjoyed right off the bat. you have to train your ear to a lot of things to appreciate them.

@@OuttaSpaceKyd what I'm saying is I believe Charlemagne knows this, but plays the role of the average industry music "fan" whether its for ratings or to give Ye a chance to react and debate how most simple-minded people would listen to the record. Either way it gives the arguments made by society a room for debate amongst the artist, like the tmz episode.

For real though. Did you know that he was forced into that psych ward *against his will in handcuffs?* Some guy (they wont say who) called in and basically said Kanye is "acting weird" and they basically straight up kidnapped him. Under that pretense that means I could just call them and say my brother is acting strange and they would haul him out in cuffs. *Keep in mind when Kanye ranted on tour he said "Please don't put those killers on my head" to both Jay-Z and Khaled*

You can't expect this bunch to listen. These three aren't the brightest people on the planet. Let's just call a spade a spade. Kanye is smart, but because he pushes the envelope and pushes the boundary in terms of exploring the various forms of an opinion or stance he gets vilified for it. Kanye is not going to be diplomatic and sometimes he does not have to be. When considering his reach, he must be, but not at all times. Some issues need to be spoken on more bluntly and he does it, fucking up in a major way (at times). However, some perspectives need to be heard no matter how uncomfortable they may be to listen to. That is the very essence of civil discourse. As a black man, I understood Ye's stance on the slavery thing, what he needed to do was to clarify. He basically said it appeared to him to be a choice due to the man power we had as a people, but he failed to realise that they (whites) had the power (the social system, the weapons, the resources, etc.), which rendered us theoretically powerless (which manifested itself in reality that's now our history). That's why slavery lasted for so long, or at least one of the major reasons. That was his only mistake - His articulation of his profound insight (profound insights require great articulation and eloquence, Kanye lacks that to that level). The guy from TMZ had the correct stance only for that reason, other than that he was just being an emotional idiot who couldn't contextualize Kanye's perspective and failed to consider the fact that he (Kanye) just didn't tie it up well.

Bottom line is, Ye is a human being who is learning and done made fucked up choices like everybody else. Rich or not, he still a human being. Period. Bro never dodged no smoke about who he is. He speak nothin but truth and nobody wants to listen because he's painted as crazy. Naw he not crazy, he just a human being that realized the future is the present in all reality. So we need heavily consider that while we're on our journey in life. When he goes on this so called "RANTS", there not rants. Its him simply exploring his thoughts. Follow him and he'll make sense. Dude just has alot to say. And it scares people. He's into humanity and civilization more than the average person. And it feels uncomfortable to ppl because they're not. They're into themselves and theirs.
