Fantastic! I first saw them in New York about a year later in 1996 and have been a fan ever since.

Man I was born only 9 months before this. Always looking for the earliest BJM recordings. The quality of this is on par with more recent recordings even. Thank you!

Circa 196* ? The opening just transports me to that era , though none of the music then was this good . Ok , some but not with the consistency that Anton achieves .

There's another "Todd's Tape" (December 16, 1995) where the same question asked. A reply said "He [Joel] posted this on Facebook today: 'Filmed during the 3 month period I had to split town for getting too spun out and couch surfing too long.'"

So happy to hear you like the tapes! No I can’t say we were buddies. I was mostly on the periphery, friends with their friends. I feel lucky to have recorded the few performances that I could.

Is that Matt Hollywood playing bass? I saw them in Toronto around 1997 and he was playing bass that night. It kinda looks like him at times but others not and the bouncing around doesn't seem like him.
@davethemusician31822 жыл бұрын
That's not Miranda Lee Richards on tambourine, is it?
