No one expects English speaking artists to speak Korean when they are featuring on BTS’ tracks. I don’t speak Korean. I would have been sad if Suga would’ve rapped in English. Sonically, Suga’s part was flawless. I didn’t know what he said at first, but it didn’t matter. His flow was there (as always). He mirrored Juice’s tone and rhythms. What more could you ask for in a feat?

Lil Bibby said he wanted the album, Fighting Demons to tell a message. So the reason behind Suga's feature on this track, according to Lil Bibby, is because it just fit the project as SUGA is known for being a big advocate of mental health. Also, Suga is credited as one of the writers of this song, and since he does not speak English fluently, he wrote his verse in Korean, that's why he is rapping in Korean.

Suga was chosen to be on the album because he is known for being a big advocate of mental health so it is important that his rap verse is written by him, because we want to know his thoughts. All of BTS English songs weren't written by him because he can not fully express his thoughts in English. If he tried to rap in English in this particular song, it wouldn't have his message, therefore the feature would've been pointless.

@@uno9915 they can sing in whatever language they want to. If someone's only problem is that the verse is not in english, nothing can be done, though it's a closed approach, but to each their own. There's nothing wrong with how it sounds though. It sounds absolutely amazing.

suga didn't have to rap in english. he's credited as a writer in the song, meaning he wrote his verse and since he's not fluent in english, it's in korean. "my question is WHY is it here?" well then, read the lyrics. read the lyrics if you really wanna understand why. simple as that. english isn't the only valid language. read. the. lyrics. his verse actually fits really well. that's all i wanna say :)

BTS has done plenty of Korean songs with English features, including Juice’s own verse on All Night. So I honestly don’t agree with you bros. Do you guys think Juice should’ve rapped in Korean on that track? No, right? So why should Suga rap in English on this track? I don’t even like BTS, but I think fairness matters.

Came to the comments to see if anyone felt this way. I also don’t agree with what was said about it being in English. It’s the same situation when Spanish speaking rappers and English rappers started to collaborate out of no where and it took off. Even though I don’t speak Korean I think they did good to bring that diversity that is needed in music from time to time.

I mean part of bts style of music is english lyrics so they already have that diversity and their fans are already fond of it, so juice speaking english on all night is not something bts fans are not accustomed to... But when it comes to juice most of his fanbase listens to him for his english music which has no korean in it, i agree that suga was a nice addition to this song and i like him as an artist but i just dont think your comparison is valid and i think that any juice fan has the right to not like this feature.

Why Suga rapped in korean? Because he is korean and he speaks korean. Its as simple as that. He's not fluent in english. He could rap in english but he chose to write his verse. Not being able to speak a language is not a flaw. The rest of the world, like me, also relies on subtitles to understand english but we still listen because its good music. we can expect the common courtesy from them too. I wish the record label added subtitles for his part.

They keep commenting on the production without considering suga, a korean, had his hand in the production. Suga stayed in LA After his tour to finish the song after wrld passed. These guys appreciate the production but "don't get" why sugas on the track. Lol like guys he literally produced on the song production you love so much. Music is universal 😌

You should react to lyrics video of this song which is made by BTS fans. The lyrics is really amazing. Isn't a little too much of you questioning about his rap in Korean? This isn't first time collaboration between BTS and Juice Wrld. Juice Wrld once did featuring in BTS song called " All night " but we didn't ask him to rap in Korean. We just appreciate all the languages. Music doesn't need to be only in English. I'm not Korean, American, Spanish and European. I'm Burmese who's from South East Asia but I listen the music from all over the world. I think you should accept language boundaries . BTW, you guys' reaction is great. I'll be waiting for your reaction to BTS. 🥰

Suga's part gave me the same reaction you guys had at first, but looking at the lyrics and the explanation of the lyrics, this is definitely a great song. Id put this in my top 5, I suggest looking up the lyrics and what they mean. There was an article I read on it, I don't remember the name of the article though.

Ahh. Little disappointed. With this reaction. Music is beyond languages. We wouldn't expect an American artist to sing in Korean on a Korean track but we expect a Korean artist to sing in english. Why? Anyway. I love the meaning of suga's lyrics much more than the rest of the song tbh. Also if you notice Suga has respected the vibe of juice's song and done his rap. Many collabs especially that have rap features do their own thing and get in and out. So the song actually maintained the vibe. So even if you don't know the lyrics or the meaning it doesn't break away. But do check out the meaning. Not to forget Juice made a beautiful for song. And his choices and his probably favourite people have been featured on the album. Publicity or not. I respect his choices. May juice rest in power.

They even included him in the Juice WRLD Trailer to the album, he talked about what he thought of Juice WRLD, they both had mental health issues, and they had a great working relationship and had respect for each other. C’est un peu triste que soudainement les mots Sugas soient moins dignes parce qu’il chante dans une autre langue. Rien n’est perdu dans la traduction ici. @@uno9915 bro but thats how music works, there are so many songs from so many artists, which are not as good as they supposed to be, 'cause the feature guest ruined it. I don't blame BTS, i have huge respect for these guys, but in my opinion, Sugas Part ripped the vibe out of the song, especially the fact, that he was singin in japanese (or chinese/korean, i'm sorry i really have no idea)

The only disappointment from this collabo were the racist remarks coming from Juice WRLD fans. They were truly disgusting in how they talked about Suga Suga didnt need to do it in English.....ARMY got the vibe as it was suppose to be Really didnt like the reaction for that alone
