The Brutal Death Animations in Nocturnals Demo

Here's a compilation of the various deaths and one kill the player can make in the demo for Nocturnals, an upcoming Telltale style choose your own adventure game. It has post-apocalyptic wastelands, trucks running out of fuel, and horrible monsters in town (with man perhaps being the real monster, at least for this demo).

There's a clear fear that the neck wound death might be the only animation considering how it happens in most of the deaths *regardless if by gun or knife.*

I think he blurred when he dies is because he is choking on his own blood, since his blood would probably be filling his lungs and stomach and now overfilling his pipes and drooling out of his mouth, which would ethier kill him by suffocation or blood loss

art style of this game feels extremely stiff and the voice acting at times feels painfully below mediocre. the attempt at FPS movement with a 2d artstyle feels jarring. at least its got brutal death scenes tho
