Also- I hear all the feedback on the interview style & 100% agree Bony is a good friend- there was no intent to disrespect him Still figuring out best flow There's one more that we already recorded that has this same structure- but will be improved on for videos following🤝

Yeah, bro.. you def a natural for this platform but maybe start with the interview about the persons life and what got them into sneakers then transition to their sneakershops instead of going back and forth.

Some good perspective on the dangers of overexpanding during a boom market. Bony has a good head on his shoulders if he is using sneakers as a stepping stone into real estate!

Bro, great channel, but your interviewing needs some work. Dont ask the subject about their life, and cut him off abruptly as he starts answering you. Eg, tell me about the liquor store? Then cut him off and say so tell me about these spiders. Do a shoe and clothing segment, then an interview segment. There should be a flow rather than a stop and go, stop and go approach. When you ask about a product show that youre actually interested rather than thinking of the next question you need to ask.

I agree bro, I almost clicked off the video because you kept asking the man questions and then cutting him off and jumping to the next topic just to go backwards and bring back up something we could have already learned and moved on from. Complex does it too in a way so I understand the inspiration however, they transition the questions smoother so it doesn’t come off rude. I know that won’t your goal but perception is reality

Supply chain shortages during Covid and inflation made reselling profitable. You could have resold just about anything for a couple years. There are no more supply issues. Inflation has leveled off and Nikes go on clearance all the time now. This bubble is about to bust. The last person buying will be left holding the bag.

He doesn’t have a sneaker store, he has a reseller store that sells sneakers, BIG difference. A sneaker store will make steady sales whereas a reseller store goes according to trend. The sneaker market is still there, it’s just consumers are sick of getting beat by resellers and sneaker companies have realized that folks are willing to pay premiums in certain shoes and have increased their prices. Furthermore, sneaker heads are getting older and have now been ok with passing on releases and waiting until they hit outlets or go on sale. Start interviewing sneaker stores and you’ll see the difference in their profit.
