Seems like concepts now and days are closer to the finished product. I think the Buell looks dope and will drop late 2024. Harley could’ve done something like this with the 1250 Revolution Max motor in a club style frame. Hell, they still can if they want to!

You made some valid points on everything, as you said it will come down to price , availability, and where to get serviced, with the discontinued FXR, Dyna DNA, the market is hot for these style of bikes. however if the wait is too long, the trend may change and they may miss the proverbial boat

Owning an FXR, lowrider ST, Buell xb12s and an EBR1190sx I love this bike. The 1190 is a BEAST. 185crank hp and 450lbs its going to be insane. Its only 36lbs heavier than an EBR

That's not a brand new engine design. It's the same 1190 platform that's been around for 10 years. It's a solid drivtetrain that's been put through its paces.

One drawing had a billet removable sub frame. That should have been the move. I love everything about this bike except that rear section of the frame

I'm stoked for this bike. It is exactly everything that I want in a cruiser. Looks like the fender they are using I can modify it to mount my Leatherpros to it which is a giant plus for me. As far as dealer network goes I'm not too worried about that. I owned a Moto Guzzi and their dealers are few and far between. Get a service manual and get yourself comfortable with it. Now the new engine does got me worried a lil bit, because like you said it will more than likely have some issues. Either way if the bike is priced right I'll be buying one.

great vid...I agree with you 100% Harley should have came out swinging in 23 but left us a bit disappointed so yes I gave Buell the $50.00 deposit. Fingers crossed and hope they can keep the production 25,000 and under.

@MarvelKid87 i seriously doubt will happen as Harley just gave all their rights to anything Buell up to Liquid Assets Management company. I for one welcome this bike and the competition with Harley and Indian. Harley can suck it with fake ass softail dyna, ask your boy FXDLS Brooklyn 🤣🤣

@@MK87_ The Motor Company has already turned down building bikes with the Rotax lump. They won't revisit it, while they have their new water cooled, variable valve timing platform to offer. Harley could build a "Super Cruiser" without a frame, which would be lighter and better handling on the Revolution Max platform, will they? If they did, it could be available before 2025, with a dealership network.

Can't wait to see it but sure would wait till they get the bugs worked out. Just replaced the oil pump and upgraded the cam and lifters because they were toast on my '18 heritage 114. Not gonna be the guinea pig again. Good update on buell

I bought my 1st Harley last year a 2022 street bob.. Seat blinkers and few other things could have been better out the gate! When you transition from sportbikes it has to be a Harley but they have to do better to stay on top.. 20k plus not interested! Great content 💪

I do like it! I agree that getting more cruisers in the market is great for those of us that like the cruiser style bikes, get some more competition going to get the best cruisers we can. I'm betting this bike is going to be priced at a bit more than I'd be willing to pay. Thinking that Indian Sport Chief is going to end up being my next bike

If it makes it to market, this thing will be a beast. Own an X1 and a an 1190RX, can't wait to have everything I love about a Harley(IE the style) and still be able to get my kicks when I crack open the throttle. Only thing to add: this motor is not brand new, any/all issues are known at this point. Still gonna be a pain to find somebody to do the valves every 5500 miles - but you have to pay to play. Exotic motors have exotic maintenance requirements.

You will probably see a Low Rider S with the revolution engine in the future, I doubt it will be as lite as the buell but harley will come out with something that comes with a lot more HP

FXR5... as far as the production bike, this is a bike that exist, save for the frame. Buell might be really close to be already authorized for production. The exhaust will be different, but you will be able to change that, as with HD and all other brands. 🤘

I like this supercruiser, currently a 92 FXR rider. If build it and around 20-25K i would buy it. This should have been the bike to replace the original FXR and or The Dyna

I have a 2022 lowrider S put 13k into the bike in less then a year to get it to the point of that bike and performance wise still falls very short … also I’ve been wanting to get an fxr and drop a 124s&s evo motor in it but now after this bike announcement I’m saving the money and gona roll with buell on this one it’s basically what i wanted to buy and FXR and make it in to anyway or try to make it into …. So If it can stay under 25k when it comes out in 2025 I’m def going to get it

According to the website, the deposit IS refundable, but I can’t imagine it being necessary. I think plenty of people will place a deposit but not everyone will purchase the bike when they hit it with a 25k+ price. I’m gonna say I want this bike and would pay that, but I also know when it comes time I’m gonna be talking myself out of spending that much. Waiting 2 years for it… might as well wait another 2 more years for a used one after the bugs are found and saving on that new price tag!

I think it’s a Rotax motor- Rotax is know for highly reliable engines. I feel it will feel the uncomfortable Ducati heat with that light frame. All on a sudden has everyone forgotten the character of air cooled motor from Harley-Davidson which they brag about and is in all praise for liquid cooled motorcycles. The street rod 750 has a similar radiator. Harley has the revolution motor with 150 hp and I’m sure they can get and additional 30 hp at the loss of torque easily. It’s the customers of HARLEY who are not ready to buy it. I think by 2025 the Bronx will be out with 180 hp. The Buell looks good but I’m not going to spend 30 mins rubbing and cleaning chains. It’s a good bike and is good to see a competitor but it too early to be excited.

Rode a Buell 1125r cross country and when the ambient temperature was above 85 degrees the heat from the rear cylinder was unbearable. Had to fold up my leather jacket and sit on it to make the trip. Rear cylinder shut off is becoming a popular option for many reasons, including rider comfort.

@@twocupstwodrams7535 good info. people spending ton of money to increase HP of M8. It will heat up and in a real hot day things will damage. The better way to upgrade will be to spend on suspension, Brembo radial master cylinder, seat and touring expenses. Have said that I can understand a race people spending money on power
