Rod and Les are my favourites on Opal Hunters. I am so rooting for them to hit it big! I couldn’t believe when Les had that accident and gotten third degree burns and showed up to work!! Rod took one look at him and took him to the hospital. Les is one tough Aussie.

I would like to go to Australia for its on my bucket list. .of things to do I have been chasing gold and treasure location trying to find gold or anything else to secure my kids future and give them a better chance in there future..my question is do you drill small 8" holes to chase the seems I was thinking 💭 if you drill small holes horizontal and get a lot more I understand that it could weaken the area but it would be a shame to miss a big pocket..

I wish I could get a visa n work with these guys for a summer. Even if we make nothing it’d be cool. I had a claim in Wyoming but it was all common opal. About 4 5gal buckets and a boulder with a vein

the only problem with Opal always trying to undercut the miner not like Gold with Gold what ever the price of the time is what you pay Opal always trying to stiff you and you got to mine it dig it its hard enough getting it then having to try and bargain with a city or town guy
