The Buzz: Bamboo teases 'Voice' fans with song number

A week before the airing of the much-awaited "The Voice of the Philippines," rocker Francisco "Bamboo" Manalac, who sits as one of the show's coaches, gave his fans a tease on what they could expect from him on the show.

Since day 1 na umere ang boses nya sa mga radio stations nung 90's...everyone was captivated...so far wala pa akong narinig na close sa quality ng voice nya. There are songs of rivermaya and bamboo(the band) that no one could sing better than him and Im sure most people here will agree on that :D

Bamboo doesn't age. Dekada 90 ganyan na itsura niyan. Ganyan boses. Ganyan ka astig. Rivermaya to Bamboo to his singles and covers, Bamboo like Ely, Chito and Rico from OPM 90s, is a Philippine legend.

the first time i saw him perform live in sm north way back in 1995,with the rest of the original member of rivermaya, he is a passionate musician /singer, times change people change but he still here getting better and better, it doesnt matter if he is doing some cover...hes one of those with exceptional voice....really really nailed it man.... +

bamboo was already famous back in 94 when ulan and 214 hit the airwaves and he has this suplado aura. now that we see him on tv more often, he becomes more accessible and bec of the new media, but that does not make him less famous then.
