It's hard to be treasonous to someone that you've never had loyalty to in the first place. In the story Percy's dad had a bit of a excuse to try and keep him alive, but most of the gods in these stories are just the worst. The only reason I don't root for Cronus is because he would make it even worse than them. Not that they have any positive qualities there. Living breathing. Horrible. I'm willing to root for the heroes but the gods that supposedly hold up the system need to be spotted by their own powers over and over again several hundred billion times.

Can you imagine how Hestia feels about all of this? She may not have any children in the series as far as I know, but she may have heard a lot from the demigods and satyrs. Many are technically her nieces and nephews who were neglected by her family. I wonder if this was another reason for her to remain a virgin goddess with no children.

I like how Luke kinda planted the idea of turning against there parents with his song. But when Percy changes the chorus he grows angry/annoyed when the centre of attention is no longer on him. Also while Luke’s version of the chorus is about how much there lives suck Percy’s acknowledges it but says he just happy there all together. All in all this was really well made and fits well within the world.

unfortunately, not so much in the Riordan universe. Minor spoilers to follow, but like, he straight up tells Nico that he would've preferred if his sister had been the one to survive, and also erased Nico's and Bianca's memories as children. And with Hazel he kind of just ignores her existence(which I guess is a kindness of its own, because if he acknowledged her he'd have to take her back to the underworld since she's technically supposed to be dead). Hades may still be among the best of them, since he eventually accepts Nico, but only because everyone else is equally just as bad if not worse. Poseidon might be the other contender for best dad, since he actually showed up to Percy's birthday and pops up every now and then to give free advice

Well lets not forget that he betrayed his friends tried to kill percy multiple times tried to destroy camp twice and poison Thalia who was a tree and also put kronos together and also tried to create a major war between the gods and traped anabeth under the sky for 12 hours. But other than that he is cool i guess

@@akhazane6922 but then again he was neglected by his parents, hermes being a god and his mother mentally ill, and for a kid to grow up like that, it could really mess them up. It doesn't excuse what he did, but he thought what he was doing was the right thing. Not to mention he died a hero in the end.
