@@rakhatthenut3815 exactly, this is Fischer's true genius: his FIDE Elo in 1972 was 2780 (performance rating 2820...) almost 30 years before the chess engine training and preparation era (and that of the early 2000s is not comparable to that of today, we must also add this) He won 20 games in a row, and no one after him (even with the preparation with the engine 😉) has ever managed to replicate. To reach the world title, he beat Larsen and Taimanov 6-0, 6-0, and Petrosyan 6-1, an absolute and practically unparalleled domination... but perhaps you were talking about the chess variant? well, know that Tartakower is a very solid defense that is still played at the highest levels today...

Fischer beat the weakest chess World champion Boris Spassky only 17 wins 10 losses! Capablanca would beat Spassky easily 8 wins 6 draws zero losses! Carlsen would beat Spassky easily 6 wins 6 draws zero losses! Fischer beat Spassky 10 wins 15 draws 5 losses in 1992 and scored 58,33%!Spassky was 162nd world ranking and rated 2558! So we get Fischer rating 2617,78 in in 1992! Crazy lunatic Yasser Seirawan claiming wrongly that Fischer was world record power and form in 1992! The highest tournament elo rating score is Fabiano Caruana 8,5/10 StLouis elo 3080! Karpov in Linares 1994 11/13 elo 3040! Fischer and Kasparov their Best tournament scores only 2990!!

"Allowing your king to be opened up and oiled up." I fuckin' lost it 😂. It's been a while since I been here but you always bring an entertaining approach to covering chess and I love it.

Love the recaps! And btw I think you can exclude some boring games, or just mention their result without analysis

1:25 off the bat - I hope that you will put a much deeper focus on any decisive games or any games which had a strong possibility to be decisive, and try to speed through any games which are uneventful draws... if you feature them at all. in the past you generally haven't, I'd rather you keep the tradition that way :)
