So to See Captain Vangelis get his Captain Stripes is awesome. To see Captain McCue's dedication to the company, the crew, herself and her ship is what makes these video's so enjoyable. Captain Vangelis' may you receive fair winds and following seas congrats sir. Captain McCue you didn't look as tired on this one as the day you sailed the Panama Canal so that's good. Hey Kate... you are so blessed. Back in 1997 when I retired from the US Coast Guard I applied to be a bridge officer on Carnival. I was told back then that they did not hire US citizens even though I was qualified and licensed. Now the tell me that they do hire US citzens but now too old I think. Continue to be blessed 🙂

You leave happiness in your wake wherever you go! We sailed with you a couple of times pre-covid. You probably don't remember but we gave you a drawing of Santa and his reindeer relaxing on a cruise. Love the videos; keep them coming.

My first Celebrity cruise many years ago was on the Summit and my most recent cruise this year was on the fabulous Beyond. Captain Kate is not just a good captain, she is a good person. The crew always had nice things to say about her.

Celebrity Status Summit was my first cruise ship and I went to Bermuda oh my goodness that ship was so beautiful and the staff was so kind and warm. From beginning to end I loved my cruise. Cruising is amazing

I’ve often wondered how you honored the crew members who were exceptional. I was on Princess last August on a Alaskan cruise and Captain Raffaele DiMartino and Staff Captain Salvatore Caccioppoli were so amazing! Just like you, they were out and about greeting guests and seemed to be so well liked by staff. I remember the Staff Captain Salvatore would be retiring this year. My friends and I wrote on them and other staff and wondered if and how they get recognized. Please send my best wishes to Staff Captain Salvatore on a beautiful chapter of life in retirement, he made us feel special while we cruised.

Capt K, I am curious about having pets on board. Doesn’t that require additional paperwork for entering the countries you visit? I would think that could put you at risk of being denied entry. What is the check in process for a big cruise ship when they cost foreign ports of call?
